Why do companies put a solar panel in a place where a strike plate needs to be? I don't get it. Don't rocks hit the solar while you're driving?

Never had an issue with rocks on the solar panel. The front box seems to take chips which is then easily touched up.

@@FunFitAdventure Thank you for the reply! Because of your videos on the Hero Ranger, I went and bought one. I believe it's the best small camper out there, especially in the USA.
