The problem with this motorcycle is Road presence, when you spent almost 2.50lacs+ price, you expect great road presence. In that case the RE 350s are hands down the best. To enhance its rear profile Hero should offer a top rack with grab rest as accessories. I'm now in conflict to choose between X440 and Mavrick. The x400 now don't look like a value for money proposition, except for the brand name. What do you suggest ?

Here, He says, maverick is better handler than x440.In the case of x 440, brand aside, A gem of a handler, and i am a regular test driving man for hero premia in Bangalore. Addictive!. X440 is has a roaring thumb. While test driving, i was having greater confidence of beating any guys and any motorcycle. And i DID! Think of it, The design of a Turtle tank is unique. This has a FZ tank vibe. Tail though an eye sore, but unique...Hero is just any other tail. Harley's name and stickers... Every ordinary citizens won't know the price. They might think expensive than what it is!

Currently riding xtreme 150 2013 model. Got etch to upgrade bike as current one being 10+ yr old. Test rode both HD x440 n Maverick & all 300-450 cc segment bikes. RE Meteor: Top end almost Costs same as Maverick top end but less power n can't go above 115 with pillion plus not much equipments as compared to this. Hunter/ Classic-only looks otherwise not really vfm. In fact RE bike i feel very overrated & overpriced. Triumph Speed 400 / Scram 400 x: engine is very refined but read all after sales horror stories so skipped it. Bajaj: no way. They still make cheap bike (NS400Z). Finally Maverick is bike which ticks all my requirements. Harley is good but i found Maverick more comfortable in terms of ride quality & comfort. I am being 5 ft 11, bike looks small on me but i found bike is very nimble, powerful with good specs. Planning to get next year (have very strong belief always skip 1st lot of bike/car if newly launched). Only negative (nit picking) is instrument cluster which is kind of smaller but not big deal. Hope by next year, hero do some upgrade in this bike. People says lot about road presence but no one want bulky bike for city traffic uses. In long touring its good but they have their own disadvantages. Instead of getting cheaper HD, better to buy costly Hero.

Classic 350 ages well interms of looks, this doesn't. Also Maverik appeals less to people aged 40+ . But happy there is good alternative now who want allrounder bike (-) not looking for top end performance

I liked your review.I feel a better looking Hero Maveric 440 Cafe Racer/Retro looking Scrambler motorcycles will be preferred over the present Hero Maveric 440 by doing a Oval Round shaped Fuel Tank with Duel Colour Graphic design on Fuel Tank and Side Cowls(BSA Scrambler/Cafe Racer, Ducati Scrambler, Hero HD440etc).The Rear Metal small Mudguard will be preferred over the present.Hero Maveric 440 is looking like Suzuki Gixxer and Not attractive.Hero HD 440 is looking better than Hero Maveric 440 because of the looks.

This Depends on how hero provides services If this bike doesn't perform well then I do not think Hero will not be much interested Inspite of good network of service centres Royal Enfield suffers with quality..this is where Hero can shine and it makes a lot of difference

I think one of the main differences between the Honda CB350 and the Hero Mavrick 440 is the refinement level, which is higher in the Honda. Another difference is the gear ratios. The Honda CB350 requires more frequent downshifting, while the Hero Mavrick 440 offers more torque at lower RPMs.

Comparing only with Royal enfield does not make any sense. Other 300 to 400 bikes are also their

can we expect similar package with smaller displacement like 160cc or 200cc

The best part or Mavrick is the long stroke engine. Even Royal Enfield used to make 250cc bikes but the long stroke engines make sense only after 350cc only. So they stopped. Math is sound on this. 160 or 200 will never be made in this style.

If they don't make it then Honda will beat it. Honda already filed patents for 350cc adventure and 350cc scrambler. I don't think Hero has made plans but it they didn't then they are in trouble. This engine is very good for those formats.

@@sakalasiva slightly higher torque, better equipment like the tft and kyb USDs. Plus the added advantage of being recognized as a Harley Davidson lol. I think the x440 also has a better road presence than the Mavrick. But thats really about it tbh. May or may not be worth the extra money depending on your priorities, thats why I said the mavrick is a lot nicer value proposition.

Bajaj n250 offers similar Acceleration & Top Speed. Why would anyone go for this Heavier, Costlier Torque Master? For the same price Dominar 400 looks a better option. Sadly Dominar 400 & TVS rr310 sell only 300-400 units per month. Hero could've either priced it lower by ₹15k or made it lighter by 15kg🤠

Torque is the most important characteristic of an engine. Don't know much about N250 but Dominar 400 has very dirty kind of vibrations.

@@oneatulin All bikes are good, if priced rightly. Torque corresponds to the Pulling Power and is beneficial when the Payload is really heavy or on very steep Mountain roads. Torque can also be leveraged by the Gearbox. In India considering the road conditions, speed limits, we don't need much, constant cruise ar 80-100kmph and quick 80-120 Acceleration must be enough. I don't think any decent bike will vibrate much at those speeds. Pulsar n250 is designed for 179kg Payload and Dominar 400 has 4 Valves, better Acceleration.

2.69 lacks is on road price 😢 Not worth it

1. Back is designed badly..ugly I say 2. Silencer design is worst 3. Placement of liquid cooler on the other side. They used these as balancers to the bike.😂 4. Top end just for diamond cut wheels and navigation is of no use.. 5. Hero service yet to be felt.. 5. Mirrors are average..not good enough 6. Speedo is pretty average.. 7. Turn by turn navigation should be of proper display atleast like the one given for RE. Navigation lines are of no use. You can not navigate the world with these lines
