It has to be done . I have done lap hernia surgery on a 92 Yr old patient and discharged her the next day . Age is no bar for hernia surgery . Sometimes the intestine can get stuck in the scrotum ending up in gangrene

Both are equally good But laparoscopic repair works on better principle of mesh placement than open Pain is less in lap Thanks
