X in MCC is gonna be great! Whether he clutches up or derps out, it'll be a good time

For my bartering farm, I put leather boots with curse of binding so I can put them on top of powdered snow. Their drops fall down in a single place so it makes it easy to sort. Curse of binding is very important when giving them boots because they will swap them out for the iron boots that get dropped.

@@666ballonboy yea, I remember seeing gnembon's video and wanted to compact it further yet still be able to dish out allot of gold at once. ATM, I have 60 piglins in the chamber and two droppers spitting out gold at observer clock speeds. I think he said 30 piglins is the perfect number to always pick up the gold for an observer clock.

I commented something similar in Impulse's video but it got buried and I don't think he's seen it :( He was using 1 hopper line for multiple piglins, but 1 hopper line can only handle 1 piglin!

"Get to the HOP-A" I said the same thing. Also the movie was Short Circuit not Johnny 5. That was the name the robot gave himself.

Johnny 5 is ALIVE!!!.... X the movie was Short Circuit. Loved the episode, and looking forward to Saturday. Throw some gold on the floor, they usually stare at it long enough to block them in.

If you aren’t close enough then the game doesn’t render the dropped blocks; that is measured from your character, not the free cam, so you might not have been able to see the stone at a different portal. 10:16

I knew that we were a similar age but naming him Johnny 5 absolutely made my knees ache it made me feel so old. That being said the movie was called short circuit and I loved it when I was a kid

I can’t wait for that, Xisuma + MCC sounds like a wicked combo, I reckon you can win it 🥇

Once a piglin has picked anything up it won't despawn, regardless of what the item was or what the piglin did with it (barter, eat, equip, or just put it in their inventory) and the only items they won't drop on death after picking it up are gold ingots and pork chops. I personally would've put piglin heads on them. I just like giving mobs their own species' head since it doesn't cover up the mob with armor. It also stops skeletons and zombies from burning in the day. Too bad creepers can't wear their own head. Fun Fact: Piglins are the only mob that'll put on any armor you give them unless they're already wearing gold. So if a piglin steals your armor, which they will if you die near one, it'll happily give it back if you give it some gold armor. It is annoying when they steal the soal speed iron boots that you just bartered for though, or that wither skull they yoinked because "they helped you kill it." They also keep their inventory when they zombify so you can still get your stuff back.

16:40 *That explains it!* I recently wrangled a piglin to serve as a "Tellarite" captain for a starship, and I couldn't figure out why "Captain Trafe" kept assaulting me!

Yep. Top-heavy design on a single tiny wheel? That's Gizmoduck. The robots in Short Circuit did were really bottom-heavy with their wiry frame and two large tank treads.

I think the robot looks more like a securitron from New Vegas.

Regarding the moss farm not keeping up - checked chunk edges? Maybe the 2nd row of composters is in a different chunk

the new guardian reminds me of Gizmo from the ol'Duck Tales cartoons

FYI theres a chunk loader design that literally uses a hopper, hopper minecart, 2 detector rails and a dispenser and 2 minecarts and a fire and its completely reliable

Loving how that bridge turned out. The only adjustment I'd make is give it a touch more bulk underneath. Perhaps a deepslate slab for extra shadow. Good luck on the MCC!

Someone else on the hermit craft serve recently had a skulker(monster) they were transporting go to the mail systems portal, even though the portal they used was connected to the one on the nether roof. the individual tiles of a portal might be able to connect to different portals?

Your bonemeal/composter hoppers backed up because of chunk borders, only part of the whole farm was loaded for a while and that led to a ton of items piling up that did not get composted. It will probably not catch up on its own without scaling up the composters. 8:22 -- Oh, I guess you figured it out.

Bdoubs has the purple wool permit. He would be perfect for the wolves of wool-street.

The Arachna Mech made me think of the Arachnotron, from Doom2

I've seen it come up on occasion by bored people who were looking for things to complain about in classic movies from before they were born. Apparently the one guy in both movies with the thick accent is actually some white guy in real life? So some random gen z viewers want to call him, and the movie as a whole, racist for that role. Never mind that they're both fun little movies about a sentient robot, gotta find something to cry foul about.

I wish I didn't have to work this weekend hopefully I can catch at least some of it, I've only ever seen bits and pieces of MCC some of the games have so much going on that it's hard to follow but maybe if I watched more I'd pick up how it all works

X, you do know that you are tossing those glass blocks through the wrong side of the portal right? 😅 Toss them from the same side that the dropper is shooting through to get more accurate results. Example, if you are facing East and toss it to the East it won't be going West. So make sure both portals are facing the same way and build the collection on the opposite side of the portal. Hopefully that made sense and helps!

Sometimes portals in a chunkloader have to be manually tried out once after server resets to work properly. Portal desync has broke a farm for me this way... (An ireon farm. It still produces, because not EVERY portal I used broke, but some did, so it became much slower...) Edit: also, for that robot, it's a great missed opportunity to call it Maximix. It'd bean awesome Cubix reference.

8:07 It would be way easier to craft lime dye from green and white dye instead of sea pickles. You can craft all dyes from 7 dyes. (Check Minecraft wiki) This would be more efficient.

Hey X, love your vids!, I just had a suggestion that when you intro with the hermit craft logo stencil zooming in, you could reverse the direction such that the logo zooms out and it would create a smoother viewing experience, its kinda jarring right now and i was contemplating whether to comment this or not. anyways if this change is too hard to implement pls ignore this comment. Just thought that the intro would look better this way.
