In a lot of other video and fanfic references to this Grian is either a watcher or a posessed doll and this causes shenanigans to ensue bc G-man is very much so NOT human

I hecking love Grian's bird legs so much, I've never seen anyone draw Grian with those before. I also love the twist at the end with Mumbo getting wings instead of just a waffle at the back of his hair, and him being completely oblivious to it-

I absolutely ADORE the expression in Grian's wings!

I really love this animatic (I saw it and immediately shoved it at my friend who started watching in season 9) but I have to give some special props to how... horror movie Mumbo moves in the beginning. SOMETHING about how he moves his head and stuff just pings as WRONG and given the whole pig thing and soul eating thing that is GREAT

I love the whole wings for mumbo and horns for grian lol I like to think not only are grian's horns from mumbo but also because of the whole no soul/shared soul thing And mumbird

it’s the fact that he’s really good with elytras, and a mixture of headcanons some people headcanon him as a watcher, from his evo series, and they have wings some people just make him part bird, other people just give him wings!

Animation could be smoother, nice audio, animation fits audio, very interesting character designs (especially that soul change at the end), and not very long at all; 9/10
