One thing I didn't mention in the video: The world download will be released on hermitcraft.com before Christmas. I'll update the description when it is released so you can download and explore it for yourself. Java version will be released first. We do expect to have a Bedrock version eventually but that may take longer because we need to convert the world.

A part of me was like "Nooooo! All that XP going to waste!" But after I got over my sadness, I remembered that there are probably multiple XP farms on the server. Just with TCG and DO2, I don't think we've seen them onscreen recently. Like I'm fairly certain there's an Ender Ender, but I cannot recall what it looks like. 😆

⁠@@napoletan1smelting items gives experience when you pick them out of the furnace, but if it gets pulled by a hopper the exp gets stored in the furnace Cub didn’t pull out any items the entire season so all the exp gained from smelting in the entire season in one go They wanted to be the ones to take the exp lol

I didn't expect to get emotional from all these videos the hermits are putting out. Been watching since season five, can't believe how the time has passed. Looking forward to season 10!

Mostly Joe -- scar and doc's bases have been fully presentable for a long time, but the pinball machine is only really done when it's done

the last minute or so feels like a hermitcraft inspired fever dream

In my head, Season Sixfinity went over for-freakin-ever and Season 9 just started a few months ago. Watching Cub tour his museum... I had forgotten so much of this season that happened. I just googled, and it turned out this season is the longest running season ever, which is just amazing considering how alive the server still is at the very end. Such an amazing catalogue of content not just from Cub, but from ALL of the Hermits. Thanks to all of you!

I never felt like 6 or 9 were finished enough, but 6 was my first season. You could feel the energy fading in all the Hermits. Still a lot of unfinished things, so I definitely agree it could go on for a bit, but they all seem to end too soon.

With Decked Out, the museum and Secret Life and other stuff, I had totally forgotten about Cub's and Scar's original base was in the same location! It's really been a while and an enjoyable journey.

119 episodes and not one missed, love you cub and cannot wait to see what you bring to season 10

Not gonna lie, that montage at the end got me emotional! This was really fun. Thank you for all the hard work and creativity you put into this. The first thing I'm going to do when I load the world is play some Total Chaos!

I hope in season 10, they all make their starter bases at spawn again and revive the shopping district again- its felt like its been pushed to the side the past 2 seasons. I loved the season 7 shopping district and the storylines provided. Nonetheless I thoroughly enjoyed this season and I know it wasn't for everyone but personally I adored season 8

@@gamingnscienceI’m assuming shopping exists for them to have a reason to use diamonds. Even with armor trims being added, I have a feeling they’d have an over-excess of diamonds they can’t use laying around without shops.

Something small that could be cool for the museum is replace the blocks under the easter eggs with the corresponding decked out hunt blocks. The museum would be my favorite build this season if it weren't for DO, it's impossible to beat, but the museum is so freaking cool.

🫡😢 so sad to see Hermitcraft go. I’m glad that a lot of things got done, but Gigacorp Island and the Scabland Castle were still under construction from Ren, Grian never finished Dwayne, Mumbo never finished his vault, and Scar’s nowhere near done with Scarland. I hope he at least gets to finish up his adventure land

@@aulvinduergard9952 holiday season and the new year, basically. With the end of the season hermits are going to take a break, and after that there's January during which the ad revenue is very low. Also let's not forget that this season has already lasted for a year and 9 months (might be the longest one so far but I'm not sure), most big constructions are complete, Decked Out 2 has come to its natural end, and hermits are probably burned out

I think what you did best this season was utilizing space - every build has tons of detail and things of note in every nook and cranny (plus secret rooms to discover!)

For me Cub is the best Hermit. Always his builds are finished in 110%. Always perfectly organized. Even final minutes on server are "perfect". Remember to put content on his inventory + enderchest - so it's available for viewers. Create book with cords to make sightseeing easier. Everything what he does, is just refined, and finished beyond what is expected.

Thank you for everything throughout the season. Two memories stand out: skulk infested Cub trying to be "cured" by so many people in a hole and Cleo's reaction to the axolotl breeding/culling. Thanks once again!

Can I just say that season 9 hands down has one of the best nether hubs. It's legendary. First of all the main hub and design by Tango who just killed it. Then all the dedication from the hermits to expand it and build all their own connecting tunnels. Plus the directory and number system. It's all just perfect, the Hermits nailed it in the nether this season. And it will all make fans exploring the world save so much easier

Secret Life and Hermitcraft over at the same time? Talk about the worst day ever. 😭

I think Decked Out and the Museum were amazing wrap ups for this season.

Not making a base is totally the move imo. Collaborative projects, long-term concepts are def the move and I’m super stoked to explore your museum on the download.

The render at the end was bittersweet but so nostalgic of the past 2 years

I think that after two seasons of ridiculously sized bases (giant pyramid and an entire biome, basically), going back to a regular sized base makes sense. Especially since the season 6 base wasn't that big, but you made very efficient use of it.

You've made me realise that we don't have living bushes, only dead bushes. Excluding the ones in jungles with one log at the base. Were deserts all jungles? Do bushes bring ruin wherever they spread before their untimely demise? Important questions. It's been a great season, Cub, thanks so much!

Its been the best ride, cub carried this season for me.

Fantastic season Cub. The world record, living under Scar's base, your work with Ren at the start, the diamond towers, the museum, total chaos and you didn't even mention your row-through potion tea shop. So many amazing memories!

I wasnt even surprised it ended once decked out is finished The season ended on a high note. It would be hard to top off Decked Out

One thing for people wanting to hear the custom music discs and goat horns in the map - you'll need Simple Voice Chat mod AND the custom music discs and goat horns addon for SVC for it to work. You won't need the redstone hopper jukebox mod anymore, as this is already in the game, added by Mojang recently. As for the custom textures and models for the items and the hats, the world will probably be provided with the resource pack included, so don't worry.

Season 9 was excellent, but who had the bright idea to schedule THREE installments of the Life series during its run, Double Life, Limited Life and Secret Life. I feel like that hurt the involvment of many hermits who were in those series. But hey, no one can deny they were lots of fun to watch!

Last season was my first Hermitcraft season, and we didn’t really get any goodbyes because of the hecticness of the moonpocalypse. But all of these “goodbye” videos from the Hermits are making me emotional. Thank you so much for everything that you do, Hermits, this was a fantastic season with some amazing memories-I can’t wait for Season 10.

Getting THE Villager News animators to animate the moon collapsing on the world was insane.

Cubs a real hero. Leaving us his stuff is a major help in exploring the game in Survival and experiencing the game the way the Hermits do! Thanks Cub!

Your museum is a treasure trove and really well organized! I hope to trod around it one day soon.

Hermits putting away all their belongings they collected, made and used over the year and so is always so emotional for me i don't know why. It's like passing down a torch for us, a sign that they will never return to these abandoned lands. That this map once full of stories and adventures and mishaps and friendships and projects will quiet down and noone will use the shops, the bases, the games, the redstone contraptions anymore. It's like leaving the stuff for future explorers, historians, archivists to discover. The map was home to many joyful interactions and stories but now its gonna be roamed by the lone fan who downloaded this world to relive these moments in person, and it just feels so liminal, so melancholic to me. Like *this* is where cubfan stood, this is where he's done this or that, this long ago. Brings out feelings of sonder (maybe chronosonder if this is what it is)

This is my favorite HC season so far _(I've been watching since S6)._ Thank you for so much entertainment, Cub, this has been wonderful. Favorite Cub moment: After an episode of good-natured theft, Cub steals an entire tower off of Decked Out and rebuilds it in the Hermitsonian Museum garden. Still makes me laugh :-)

This season was so fun, can't wait to see what you do in season 10! :D I think my favorite of Cub's projects was Total Chaos, the dedication on that was insane and was always really fun to watch when games were played!

🎬📽🎞A "Hermitwood" (Hollywood theme) area with a ⭐walk of fame ⭐using map art to create the stars for content creators' names on the walkways would be a great way to commemorate all the collaborations in the future! It would look good in the background of the season 10 spawn area!

I hope next season they bring some old Hermits back and they bring HermitCraft back to a more vanilla experience. But overall, great season, Cub! 😢❤

What an amazing season this was! As someone who's watched from Season 6 (and the Season 5 for the Convex content), I declare this as my favourite, followed by Season 6. The crossover was great, the number of community events was enormous, the Sculk!Cub arc was incredible. It's sad to see it go, but I'm excitedly awaiting Season 10 and whatever mishaps and chaos and builds happen there. Also my signed Cub TCG card is amazing.

Cub I didn't watch much of your content before Season 9 started but I found you to be a favorite during decked out, today I downloaded the Hermitcraft server on Bedrock for free and it was one of the most exciting moments I have had in the game in a long time. you left a chest for us to use at spawn and Immediatly knew whose episode I would watch while I explored the server for the first time, it's a weird feeling to step into the world you all crafted by hand and I really didn't expect to feel like this It kind of just hit me that I stepped into a world made by people thousands of miles away from me for entertainment for millions Thanks.

I'm sad to say goodbye to season 9 but I can't wait to say hello to season 10!

Its crazy to digest how much time has passed. There were many moments where i said "that was THIS season?" everyone has accomplished and gone through so much. The grinds and the builds and community was great this season! Even had some new first time hermits and lost one.. RIP TFC had much fun watching looking forward to the next!

Now that Total Chaos is in the rear view mirror, I would love to see you partner with Etho to "complete" his charity PVP complex so can be played more often with much less prep.

Thank you for this season, Cub. I really enjoyed how your community service and how you were involved with all the other Hermits in some way or another. It really feels like you left your mark everywhere, from one end of the server to the other. Your videos were so chill and didn't have the overarching stress of completing some huge megabase like most other hermits had, and you were able to just start a new project whenever. It felt like I was just watching someone truly have fun and playing the game however they wanted to all season, and it was a nice touch. Can't wait to see what you get up to next season :)

Your season 9 base in Scar's tree will forever remind me of the bit in season 7 where Hermits were building secret bases in the dead spaces of other Hermits bases 🤓 too far back for me to remember much in detail but I remember it happened!

This was such a fun season! While you maybe didn't leave your "mark" with some huge base, the dedication and focus you put into other large projects, like the museum, Total Chaos and the TCG Pyramid, really shone. While my poor laptop probably won't survive a visit to Total Chaos whilst it's running, I definitely can't wait to sit down in the museum after a walk around and read through all the books. :D Hope to see you next season, and have a nice winter break!

I'm so excited to watch and experience season 10 next year! Season 9 will hold a special place in my heart. Getting to watch all the hermits build, explore, play games, etc. is something I always look forward to each season! I have alcohol problem but I quit that and started collage just because of Hermitcraft. My real life friend group was a lot about alcohol and parties and often I stayed at home and just watched Hermitcraft. You guys are like my friends in weird way. I know I am 31 years old but this is what gives me motivations to do things with my life, still be a little bit childish and stop drinking. So thank you. 😊

You guys did such a good job this season. I can tell it was well planned out where the big events didn't overlap each other and it seemed there was always something going on. I feel like you guys experimented a lot with season 8 and Hermitcraft got better as a whole because of it. Looking back to the beginning of Season 9 with King Ren and all that, it's hard to believe this was all one season. Great job Cub! You are always working on things to bring the hermits together and giving many of the others content to put out. Looking forward to Season 10 and seeing what you have planned!

It was a glorious season filled with iconic moments of Hermitcraft. All good things must come to an end though. This nearly two year season provided tons of content for me to enjoy and has inspired me greatly to push myself in my own minecraft worlds. Cub, you did a fantastic job this season keeping us thoroughly entertained, consistently delivered great episodes to watch, built the most chaotic mini game without needing command blocks/mods, and so much more. I cannot wait to see what you do in Season 10! Enjoy your time off until then.
