You should have a subtle difference in the names of the Painful Panes so that they don't stack up and can take up more inventory space

What’s so hilarious is Doc knows that Grian can not resist and I’m sure Grian knows 90% of the time it’s going to end badly and yet does it anyways.

You could even use Bdubs' depth texturing technique.

Hey, for the sniffer farm: you need to give them more room. The way they search is weird and makes no sense, but if they sniff a block, they have to sniff twenty more before they can sniff that one again. So in order to speed up the searching, give them more room! Otherwise, wow, I am just blown away by the talent in the builds you did this episode. Also the reference to the barge from s7 made me so happy

You should replace mumbo with gem! Her cottagecore style is exacly what you need to annoy doc (It may lead to an alliance with the soup group 👀👀)

Does it count if it accidentally gets shoved in a shulker? I sometimes do the thing where i just mouse over every slot shift clicking regardless of if it has anything, and I'm sure the hermits do it as well from time to time. (Particularly when you have a lot of diverse junk in your inventory so double clicking to move all of a kind isn't worth it)

I have an idea how to escalate the pack war. Doc is concerned about the sculk spreading near him from X's new farm, so why not instead hide catalysts at the bottom of the bedrock holes, and see how long it takes him to find them?

Especially since Etho doesn't play very often and when he does, he's in another timezone on the opposite side of the world (iirc Etho used to play very late at night and would generally log off around the time the brits were waking up)

Grian, I am sure people already pointed out, but you can improve your Sniffer farm and still use nice looking blocks (moss, like you wanted) if you switch the hoppers for rails, with a hopper minecart. Hopper minecarts can pickup items from full blocks because their hitboxes actually touches inside of the blocks on top.

Mine too! I absolutely love it's design! But I don't think Grian will build something similar in the next season though, he seems to like using the new blocks from the most recent update, always experimenting with new styles. If 1.21 will be The End Update, Grian would totally build an End base with the new blocks that wouuld be added.

Season 7 was probably a favorite of mine, and the barge was fun with it’s evolution

I would love see you building a secret path in the bonsai trunk and outside of it when it gets thinner, to access the meeting room and all the branches by foot

The secret panes of pain need serial numbers so they won't accidentally stack and give themselves away

Grian, for the Bonsai-Base, I think a quartz dome at the top would work really well. You could incorporate leaves to make it flow with the rest of the build and it would give the room more structure. You should definitely make a balcony of leaves so that you can look out at The Perimeter too, you could use Cherry fences to make it look all fancy.

Add a bird house or beehive, for tent replacement.

One day Grian’s going to make a base that purposefully has no back. It could be a bunch of 2d walls layered so at a distance it looks 3D. It could be like a dollhouse built so you can see the interior. Or it can be a cavern/hole that is the back of the base but it’s empty on purpose.

Some Hermits use the ‘dark gui’ resource pack which makes the glass pane visible

you could also just like, make a resource pack to make the pane more visible in your inventory

I loved the barge so much.. its evolution over the season was so great. I don't think another Hermitcraft season can ever top Season 7. Season 9 has been great, but S7 was truly something special for nearly every active hermit. The things you all accomplished were truly insane and collaborative.

Have to disagree, all of their builds have been significantly better this season, and for me the one robot fight episode was more eventful than the entire mycelium war. And TCG of course, plus I’ve seen way more funny moments this season.

Leaves are transparent so you can place them above the sqid farms without any effect

You should give the panes of pain numbers, so it becomes important to get rid of them before they take op half your inventory.

Fun fact: If you place the sniffer eggs on moss, they will hatch two times faster.

Grian! A little tip for the cocoa bean farm is to raise some of them so some are four or five blocks tall, just for some diverse and natural kind of looks, also putting spruce slabs on top make it look more finished

Gotta say, Doc's piston animation was really well executed.. "Doc's an artifact. Why doesn't Cub take him?" Best line ever.
