Keralis building a satellite literally right before the vertical expansion: my goals are beyond your understanding

I love how the moon related builds keep getting more and more gigantic. First it was Grian's observatory, then it was Mumbo's Mooner Altar, then it was Joe and Cleo's moon observation platform, then it was Tango's HASA, now it's the Keralis Space Station. Can't wait to see the Hermit Girls or Octagon build like a literal life size replica of the moon.

Keralis has a perfect moon-assisted Lagrange point above his base for geostationary ultra-low orbit, don’t ask how.

@@jennareynolds1403 Elaborating one possibility, The moon and the sun create the Lagrange point together, the atmosphere and Lagrange points centrifugally equalize to a lopsided orbit (since Minecraft moon and sun are on exact same orbit 12 hours apart)

So to summarize, when faced with a world ending apocalypse: - most of the hermits are pretending it's not happening - Cub has a 3-deep hole he plans to use to ride it out -xB is a prepper - Tango and Grian are trying to Science their way out - Mumbo has turned to religion - Keralis is going the Bezos route and is setting himself up with a space base Real slice of humankind on display on this server.

Keralis, have you considered putting a space station in the End? Except for iJevin redecorating the entrance area, no one has really done anything with the End dimension. You could have another space station there as a third backup _or_ consider it story-wise that you teleport to it (with cut scenes). ;)

@@red5_skywalker Welsknight did the "Overworld" side, yes. I was meaning the End side, where the obsidian pillars are. I don't know if there's a proper name for the initial End Island where you fight the dragon.

The hermits don't usually build in the end. Last season's end was very messy the only builds there were the enderman farm and X's obsidian and dragon's breath farm. So was season's 6. I was glad when Jev built there, it always felt like a missed opportunity

@@AED10 Yeah, it's such an untapped place for potential. My first SMP server there was an engineer who played and he built an extremely interesting garden with a creek and a scenic view inside the first end chunk (where the dragon is).

Every time You call Bdubs ` " Bubbles" It makes me giggle, it never gets old. I wish You could post more often, I enjoy Your video's. Also Your space station build is really cool.

Honestly I understand his more sporadic updates. In the last season he grinded like a madman and posted quite often I would be burnt out. I miss his videos but it's nice that he's taking his time irl

I've noticed the earthquakes happen pretty regularly, when the moon rises. The timelapse is my main evidence, but I could be wrong.

Everyone is building bunkers, or starting a Moon Cult, but only Keralis has the idea to have a contingency plan in case his idea doesn't pan out, which is a very Batralis thing to do. Also love that Space Station it's incredible, it's kind of given me the idea that with the 1.18 build height a Space Station Mega base would be pretty cool, maybe my next base I'll do that even though when 1.19 comes out I want to make a Legion of Doom/Injustice League Supervillain base in the new Swamps.

I’m not sure in the air is a great place to be honest Keralis, a chunk of the moon has already destroyed Docs chicken farm! I’m surprised no one has made a bunker in the end, I mean all the fruit you can eat and if your safe anywhere surely it’s in another dimension. I suppose the Nether would work too but I dunno, aweful hot there and lots of hostiles, but there is pork chops so….

I hope that the diffent escape methods affect where the hermits start next season. Mumbo could start in ruins, Keralis his (crashed) space station, collapsed bunkers for those who make bunkers, etc. the coords could be randomized and then the hermits could be scattered story style.

I have heard keralis speak swedish a couple of times but he lives around a place called Skåne. They have a very wierd dialect there and i allmost cant understand it eaven if i am a Swedish person.

You could consult Doc to get a teleporter installed in the KSS that brings you straight to the xBunker if things get a little too scary hairy Larry.

Not going to lie, I thought someone was finally going to build a base in the End to escape the moon. Awesome build as always Keralis mon ami.

well Keralis, the moon is getting closer, hence why it looks absurdly massive now, and due to the moon's gravity, and the hypothesized reaction of two intersecting planetary gravitational fields, this would explain why the ground keeps shaking, the moon rock that hit Ren dog's phoenix farm, the turbulence some people have experienced during elytra flights, and the random bouts of jump boost and slow falling effect that several of the hermits have experienced lately, so I think you're doing the right thing by making preparations. (P.S. Thunderbirds is one of my FAVORITE TV shows)

Everyone else is making megabases and huge enterprises and Keralis is just getting triple-mooned. Now this is some quality content!

I love the space station, but if it proves to be as futile against the incoming moon as the bunker will probably be, my thought was to create a fully self sufficient base in the End, where there is no moon 😎 the nether could be possible too but without water it would definitely be more difficult!
