I was actually bummed out when he changed his mind on the ruins. They added actual lore to the biome, not to mention that they almost looked naturally generated

I love the individualized villager homes! I hope the the whole base ends up covered in them!

I was so upset when the ruin idea was abolished. There was such a good opportunity to create a ruin complex with broken staircases leading on top of the mountain and overgrown bridges… It would have looked so nice and created a nice contrast between buildings from ancient times and “modern” iskall’s houses, but I guess he knows better

When you built the crane i thought; "where do the materials come from" since they are supposed to be lowered down into the storage room. Then i thought maybe they are being transported by airships, and imagined how cool it could look with an airship dock at the top of the base.

HEY NOW he’s finally back from his vacation and just posted a hermitcraft episode a couple days ago 😂

For Etho, it must be like living in a house that is under construction. Every day a new thing is added on.

The lapis trick works, but you have to dig down UNTIL you find diamonds. I rarely found them 4 block bellow, usually they're almost or at bedrock level.

The cookie is so big because someone used the "Item/handheld" parent instead of "item/generated" parent in the cookie model (probably while editing it to get some custom food ingame, like the edible amethyst shards).

Iskall, you should make a blaze farm so you can use the blaze rods for fuel as it is renewable and it last longer

The hermits have been making some really quick progress on their bases for being so early in the season.

Placing a bed near the curing station with the iron bars speeds the curing process even more iskall

As an addendum to the Lapis-Diamond technique: When crossing a chunk border, you just start counting the 3 blocks (or 4 as I prefer) at the lapis and continue on the other side of the lapis chunk when you reach the border.

Please stop going for these ads. The hermits do the ads because that's their livelihood. ExpressVPN in particular ,although a decent VPN service, is passing a lot of misinformation through these ads. I watches through Iskall's one, and also others like Impulse etc, and in every single sponsored segment, they are forcing the fact that ISPs sell your data. They track network traffic and sell that data, and saying that is plain wrong.

I am loving etho and iskalls base. It is so classic minecraft and very relatable.

I remember the crane you built in Season 4! (Mostly) Season 4 was the first Hermitcraft season I watched, and I have fond memories of that mesa you all built in.

I’m gonna give myself exactly one hour of branch mining focusing on coal and of course, diamonds and see how-MONTAGE TIME-can acquire at y level 11.

Hope there will be an interaction with Etho in this video. Edit: No Etho :(

I thought about this with the ruins, but it works with the dig site too. You could make water flow out from a crack at the top and on the inside have it collect in small pools/platforms before going down again. It makes trident access easy and can still be used without tridents, and sounds fun.

I am really loving where this season is going with iskall.
