my man after watching other hermits videos and almost all of them calling treasure island a scam, I have a few recommendations. 1. place a sign stating all treasures can be found between 3&10 blocks down to give them an idea of how far to go. 2. inform people that the shovels come with random durability. 3. do a "show box" at the shovel box showing what can be found inside the treasures, explaining the different treasure levels of purple, blue, green and white. these changes I believe will make them play again and spend more diamonds.

U need to write how deep most the treasures are, a lot of hermits are digging down like 10 blocks and they don’t know when to stop. I get it if u don’t want to do it, just a suggestion :)

IDEA! How to track how many treasures have been found: each found treasure also has a "piece o' eight" or some other renamed item as a token in the box. The hermit should take it back to the game area and put it into some kind of redstone counter. It'd be easy to have the hermits WANT to return the token too, just have the counter also trigger a randomised minor bonus reward. Could be a diamond block, an intact treasure spoon, an ancient debris.. anything small but immediately useful or valuable.

Could make restocking the island a lot easier too, hide barrels each time with a renamed token wherever you want, but keep track of the actual treasures back at the shopping district that way

Hey Iskall! You can add an alternative way for paying for the spoons, i.e 1 spoon per some number of shulker boxes of leaves deposited. This will drive the hermits to deposit more leaves and they won't also be too upset about spending too much diamonds.

To be fair, I think we were all expecting him to bury them about 3 or 4 blocks deep, but Grian had to dig farther (or at least it looked further) than that to reach one. And Impulse operated under the same assumption of the barrels being shallow, so he gave up on a couple of wholes that might have ended up as winners had he kept going.

I've honestly just felt bad for the hermits digging for treasure. And the dud that Grian found was waaaay too hard to find for a treasure that wasn't even that valuable. Considering how expensive the shovels are, the treasures should be easier to find. And the value should correspond with how easy/hard the treasure is to find. It's not even fun watching the hermits and hear how deflated they were after (even though they tried to not really show it). If it's gonna keep being this hard/expensive, the odds are high that the hermits won''t want to play anymore.

It's cause when seen from iskals perspective he pretty much has made what he put into it. In his eyes it's pretty fair, but he didn't take into account certain things like hermits digging too far, or not far enough, or just exactly how hard it is to randomly start digging and actually get something. So when seen from the others perspective it's really not worth it. Perspective makes everything.

Iskall, I've got a cool idea for the treasure island: You have the possibility to find more treasure spoons in some chests so that people can keep digging for longer and maybe even some enchanted or variant ones, i also think that it would be more convenient if there was another spoon vendor on the island so people can re-spend the money they earned from treasure on more spoons

Others may not agree, but I find Iskall's timelapses the most satisfying. Although the music is super quiet and sometimes there isn't even music, it sounds like an ASMR with all the block breaking and stuff

ProDG Wicked then whichever hermit thinks it’s “unfair” just won’t dig around iskalls treasure island. The price is high but the prizes are amazing, so I don’t think it’s unfair

I have a tip to be able to know which boxes have not yet been found: you can remove 1 block under each chest, so that you can look under the island with your other account to see which chests are still there.

Just a suggestion for the Omega Tree: It would be really cool (and much cheaper) if the tree was split into four seasons. So like 1 quarter is spring, another winter, another summer and another fall/autumn. That way 50% less leaves are needed and it might look 100% cooler. 🙃

You should redo your math, about 100 diamonds have bean found while whey have spent 1990 diamonds. Don’t really think they are NOT losing money. And don’t forget that where are only about 1700 diamonds, so they will lose money. And the 64 netherite will not make up for it.

Hey Iskall! You can add an alternative way for paying for the spoons, i.e 1 spoon per some number of shulker boxes of leaves deposited. This will drive the hermits to deposit more leaves and they won't also be too upset about spending too much diamonds. P.S - I think you need leaves more than diamonds for the time being...in order to have some progress for your Omega Base (of doom)!

after watching other hermits videos and almost all of them calling treasure island a scam, I have a few recommendations. 1. place a sign stating all treasures can be found between 3&10 blocks down to give them an idea of how far to go. 2. inform people that the shovels come with random durability. 3. do a "show box" at the shovel box showing what can be found inside the treasures, explaining the different treasure levels of purple, blue, green and white. these changes I believe will make them play again and spend more diamonds.

Iskall: creates a mini game to make profit that happens to be a horrible business decision Grian: makes it profitable anyway by failing miserably at it

Dude, a stack of rotten flesh at unmodified prices makes like 2 emeralds, which then turns into 4 red stone dust. Piping that stuff to your clerics will take far less work than any other farm for that gives even similar drop rates.

Yes like a full stone shovel + 1-2 clues could be a really good prize

Iskall, in your redstone shop you could put some cleric villagers that sell redstone. You can put emeralds down and they could buy any redstone items. They would get the xp for the trades and they could put the redstone in a chest, which you can use to stock up your shop. This would maybe have to be free as they are basically buying xp for redstone, but using your emeralds. This would stop you stressing about getting stock for your shop, and would get Hermits XP. Its a Win Win

i know that Stressmonster found 2 barrels, Grian found 2 barrels and Tango found a barrel. By the way you should put up a sign saying how many blocks deep the treasures can be, ex. 5-10. Also, have a shulker box that shows what can be found in treasures, ex. kurt, awesome, mega and omaga

It's one of the universal rules of mc, if you have a redstone box, you will lose it, they're like hairbands and guitar picks, just disappearing the second they leave your sight
