I think if there’s one thing I love about False’s videos and channel, is that it’s a consistent “come back to” channel. We all have channels on KZread that we watch obsessively for a while and then stop watching, but I’ve consistently been coming back to False’s videos and channel throughout my life without ever getting so obsessed or attached that I find myself burning out. There’s a really lovely pace and engagement in every video that keeps me coming back without the stimulation being SO high that I eventually stop watching. Kinda feels like coming home.

Ways to transport around via railways probably underground just so it's less intrusive I'm loving the new buildings and the River/Waterfall for Xisuma and Jevin is amazing, I love the use of candles I hadn't thought of that, glass and campfires is all I've ever tried

Part 3) Tunnels Part 4) Railways Magic Mountain hermits would be a good clients as they previously have mentioned wanting to connect their bases through the inside of the mountain. You could go to them with the proposition of the tunnel being basic (cheaper) or on their themes like you did with Cleo (profit)

  • @stuartshaw7624

Absolutely love the cylindrical base! I think a cool idea would be a canvas roofed pop-up shop hanging off your storage room, with a hodgepodge assortment of trinkets for sale. Maybe part of it caught fire so it has a singed hole in it, adding to the gloomy vibe you’re going for. I’m SO glad Cleo loved your bridge and said you nailed it like I said on your video. I don’t even think she noticed the floating particles so that might be a fun thing to show her in a boat ride. Which segues nicely into Big Business Part 3: Guided River Tours! Hermits can pay a small fee to get a guided tour of the river ways with fun facts about each Hermit/Hermit’s Bases as you pass them by. Maybe a cool island for dinner at the end with a gift shop where they can buy custom paintings of sights they saw on the trip! 😃

If the vibe is ruins being reused by a nomadic people, you could use massive tarps….sort of circus tent-ish. They’d use whatever large bits of canvas, or tin, or plywood they can scrounge….sort of patchwork style. If the newcomers are a bit more progressive, they might use bricks of varying colors, especially if they use the rivers extensively….they would be likely to find red clay and grey clay along the rivers to use for bricks, and both nether brick variants could help with “home made” vibe. Whole walls of the stuff not necessary, of course, just groups of offset lines would give the impression without going all out. 🤷‍♀️ Just a thought, since you asked. The waterfall looks cool. You could add a campfire underneath for more mist, putting it low enough down underneath so just the top of the smoke shows occasionally. #3 could be a multi-level boat race course, using signs, gates and bubble columns to get boats up elevations, and letting flowing water carry down. Race is best time recorded on video. Landscape of race: dealers choice.

For the roof, maybe go for something similar to the Church of San Martín des Tours in Zarasgoza, Spain. It's composed of arches on the sides with a large circle at the center/apex of the dome that has cracked and crumpled from weathering throughout time. I feel like it would look great using blocks that would fit your build's palette and would work in with your build's theme!

for the roof, having like sun sails at different height (kinda like you see covering streets) in a dark colour (maybe a pallet of black stone and dark woods) could work. And then there would be small gaps where the heights of each sail are different that let in a bit of natural light. Also using black and grey glass in a roof could look really cool for a smudged skylight that's gotten dirty with time

I think the dark outer wall looks great! the light breaking up the dark gradient honestly makes it, tbh. the gradient alone wouldn't sell the whole dilapidated theme but the broken bits do. stone and mortar foundations get dark at the bottom where water pools and sediments collect, but the path the water takes down could easily expose or crack away at the wall and expose the lighter mortar! reminds me of a dungeon wall :)

A domed roof could be good as if to protect from meteorites, space debris, volcanoes etc. Perhaps you can make the dome as part of a giant telescope observatory like they were on the lookout for an apocalyptic meteorite. But then they got bored and stopped using the telescope and then it was too late and the apocalypse found them in the end.

Yo a broken roof covering just enough to make it dim on the first floor would look great. that way you can use the fallen roof to cover more areas.

False, go take a look at Bdubs waterfall in the forest he built. Maybe you might get some mist ideas from it.

Part 3 could be a path following the well traveled areas! The town i live in was built around a river, so one of our staples is this "catwalk" all along it. You could make some park benches and everything!
