    @blackdog6969 controller use is supposedly possible with a mod. However, the capability of that mod to others could be an issue. I play both Bedrock and Java on my PC. @@jennymarshall2872 There's a lot of third-party programs you can download that let you map controller input to keyboard and mouse input, so one of those could potentially do the job. I personally use one called JoyToKey, it handles it pretty cleanly. Not 100% sure how well it would work with Minecraft, I haven't tried it in that context. I've just used it for various emulator programs for old Nintendo consoles on my PC. The emulator programs I've used had options to map buttons on your keyboard to simulate controller input for the console in question (NES, GameBoy, etc,) but it didn't have controller support, so I set up JoyToKey to turn my Xbox controller input into keyboard and mouse input, which the emulator program mapped to console input for the game.

    Yes it is common with injuries, it is called "shock" in English (for anyone who doesn't know) and it is when your body releases endorphins (pain killers) and adrenaline (intense activity hormones) after being injured, which can lead to pain not setting in for some time. My guess is (don't quote me on this I have no source ), that this exists from evolution because in a high pressure situation like escaping a predator if you are injured it is better to be more severely injured (by continuing to use an injured body part) but otherwise safe versus dying (because the pain would be too much to keep moving)

    @Aveius__

    Ай бұрын

    @@elizathegamer413 There's confusion around this term: medical "shock" commonly refers to a circulatory (blood flow) emergency common with severe injuries. When oxygen doesn't reach tissues and organs well anymore (from blood loss, weakened heart pumping or breathing, etc), including the brain, they can stop functioning properly. A common symptom of shock is skin turning pale, cold, wet. The adrenaline rush ("non-medical shock") can provide the "fight or flight" response you describe and temporarily override pain (not sure about endorphins being involved), while shock is a deteriorating oxygen condition that can quickly become life-threatening. (Source: first aid training and some searching)

    I can corroborate the lack of pain when you first sprain something. Was also walking my dog, in a plains biome funnily enough, and there was a hidden dip in the ground. It was all grassy and at night so couldn't see that there was a big hole (of doom), and I step right on the side so my foot twists in a way that feet aren't meant to twist and so down I go. Zero pain, unless you count the pain to my pride, so I continue the walk but stepping a bit gingerly because I just KNOW the pain is SURELY going to come. By the end of the walk, sure enough, I feel something. Like Gandalf appearing over the crest of the hill during the battle of Helms deep except instead of a massive army (of doom) to save me it's instead the herald of pain coming to say "You're gonna have a bad time mate." And a bad time was indeed had.

    Dont worry Iskall, last year I stepped down a single step (COACHING a sport, not even playing) and broke my ankle/ leg in 3 places. Took a 4 hour surgery to fix it and now I have 3 screws and a metal rod up to my knee. Your injury is not the most embarrassing out there.

    Murder mystery games are way older than D&D, they go back to the 1930s and possibly earlier. D&D drew more from wargaming originally, but the roleplaying aspect grew over multiple editions.

    For the hermit mystery mansion you should plan out a few of the rooms and where you want them then invite some hermits(Grian, Bdubs, Tango, Keralis, exc) to come and actually make the rooms. I think it would be a good way of implementing their different build styles into the build and would take some stress off of you for making rooms in the mansion.

    With the murder mystery idea, you could do a decked out inspired game. There could be a lot of randomised crimes that people have to go in and solve as a group, with no previous knowledge of the crime. The goal is to make it to the last room but they can quit at any time if the mystery is too hard to solve.

    Iskall, if you can’t easily click your mouse button, you could relax your right hand by rebinding your mouse button actions to be done by your left hand on the keyboard. This is a temporary solution that could really help you minimize the use of your right hand until your doctor says it’s safe to use normally
