Stilts are better for emote hopping and other things, they are both good in their own ways

Summary: Stilts make you just as fast (or perhaps by an incredibly small amount even a tiny biny faster) as/than a nextbot. They are also faster than Hermes when running at max speed or bhopping without strafing, and will also grant a slightly higher benefit from speed boosters (or zippers or speed pads whatever you want to call them), colas, and speed special round. Meanwhile Hermes excels in wallhugging, bhopping (with strafe), emotehopping, and strafing. They are also very useful for a quick recover from a momentum loss (bumping into a wall). Conclusion: Stilts are great for those who just want to be fast without having to do some crazy tricks. On the other hand Hermes expands on the techniques giving the player more freedom, thus also giving the game more consinstency, better rewards (not currency) for being skilled, and also allows for the player to be more versatile. Trimping is different with both. Stilts gives a slight distance and speed boost when flying after a trimp, but isnt as useful when not yet at top speed. Hermes allows for more trimp accuracy if used correctly, and allows to reach top speed almost instantly, wich is essential for trimping to begin with.

No my guy, stilts can open many ways to trimp, while if you're using hermes shoes, you can't do those trimps, 6% speed boost is way better than you think, for $2500 stilts are little better than hermes shoes for $4000, 80% acceration are good only in small/closed maps like backrooms or maze, while stilts are better in big/open maps, but still in right hands both of them are great, if you're using hermes, that's great, you can clutch a lot when you bumped at wall and lost speed, while with stilts, it is way harder.

You can go trimp and emotehop with Dr livesey emote it's better with Hermes shoes that causes insane speed to juke any of the nextbot (except super munci and catjard also angry munci) it might give you insane speed

I always knew something was a bit different about hermes shoes, cause with hermes shoes, you'll have alot of trimp potential. I do use both stilts and hermes shoes cause i like to make things more interesting. When I play evade on the first round, hermes shoes comes first, and then stilts for the second and final round, basically i've formed a sort of strat, and it seems to work actually, atleast for me. To be honest, both of them are ok to me. I usually switch my equipables alot, though sometimes i do use hermes shoes two rounds in on evade, except for the special round which i use stilts. To be honest, i suck at trimping. Hence why i barely trimps sometimes unless i use hermes shoes. Also, you do run a bit faster when spamming A and D while using hermes shoes. I have no offence with these two equipables, you can choose whatever you want. Besides, i guess the only reason as to why some people aren't using hermes shoes is cause that they just want to be more faster than most standard nextbots. So here is what I'm gonna say for those who bump into walls alot and having a difficult time adjusting their movement, hermes shoes may be recommended. The Hermes shoes just does nothing for me idk why 😭😭

I STILL PREFER THE STILTS reason: my style of play is not trimp, my style of play is more the specific places to jump for dodge the nextbots (that NOT mean trimp) And yes, one day I will wear the hermes and trim, but for now, that's my style

but dodging is harder to do on stilts bc stilts gives u slower acceleration. so what u said is kinda meant to be the opposite. most people who trimp use the stilts. most people who wanna dodge specifically use hermes shoes bc faster acceleration

plot twist: you need hermes or stilts that will help you to get better

hermes is good for smaller maps to run away quicker and to bhop better etc, but stilts is good for special rounds like swap, when you keep moving and you get swapped w someone beside a nextbot, your speed is basically already fast enough to just keep running

I KNEW IT, I thought I was crazy when equipping hermes and feeling faste when bhoping and easier to trimp but with this video I can rest in peacd

Also here's a tip use hermes shoes if your into parkour or if you jump a lot when running away from the nextbot stilts might be a litte better if your that person that always revives people cause you can't jump when your carrying someone but it's still your opinion on what you wanna use or not

So true, but it is not always needed for every map because there are some safespots in maps that you don't even need Hermes Shoes. Unless you're a chad and decide to play fairly.

Counter-point, when I ran tests on the bhopping Hermes boots reached the end point in 11.12 seconds and stilts reached it in 10.59. Also just the same way that using speed pads helps you trimp, the same situation applies to stilts. The speed makes you trimp higher not the acceleration. Another point, Ground strafing helps immensely with acceleration and it also boosts your tops speed which almost completely invalidates Hermes Boots. It’s ok to believe what you want to believe but don’t state things that you haven’t proven. You’re called an influencer for a reason, don’t use your platform for spreading misinformation.

hermes shoes: trimping, getting out of sticky situations, short term speed, and easy to use when you bump into walls and stuff stilts: running fast, staying out of sticky situations, long term speed, and helpful when you need to get a far distance quicker

The only reason why i choose stilts is because when you pick stilts and you bhop through a nextbot it gives a higher chance of you not dying hence the speed with bhop

id say Hermes shoes are good for new players, but when you get better at dodging and stuff stilts are the way to go

i just now tried out playing with hermes shoes and dosint really feel much different from stilts other then i dont have that 6% extra speed i already am speedy without cola and speed pads with and without stilts and i already am fast to recover while being chased with and without hermes shoes so i dont really have any reason why i should swap over from stilts to hermes shoes other then losing 6% extra speed to out run most people so i dont down last when angry munci for able to keep speed while making the sharpest round turns into squares that can make the air give people around you paper cuts in maps that has alot of turns and sharp turns but that also means i dont have any reason why i should keep with stilts and should swap over to hermes shoes but for now im keeping with stilts as ive played most of my time in evade with stilts and grown my skills around stilts but its honestly your opinion on which to use i suggest hermes shoes if you have problem with making those turns in maps that has alot of turns and sharp turns or stilts if you havint learned things like wall running and b-hopping yet unless if your one of those people who are left in the back of the group and gets downed first in maps where everyone camps at corners

Cool video kaebi but i'll clear some things up. 3:12 This statement is correct in general, but to be specific, hermes and stilts are close competitors in terms of what kind of trimp you are going to do. Hermes is better in slope/ramp trimps. The kinds of trimp you do on relatively diagonal and smooth surfaces like on the Trimp map. They tend to tie out in terms of super trimping/object trimping. And stilts is better if you are emote hopping/emote super trimping. 3:31 This one is technically true, you can do emote hopping without even a skin. However stilts is better at emote hopping as i previously mentioned. Keep up the good work.

When I first bought it I thought that it gave a speed boost, I never used it, but right after finding out the 80% acceleration is actually super helpful I use it a lot

I use both of them based on map like an example of library map or facade their i use Hermes shoes due to the object blocking and for stilts i use in very open area like desert bus bc there are no object that can block expect for fence but i rarely bumped into fences

may i ask why when everytime im emote hopping the emotes automatically ends after a bit?

bassicly what he said at the comparrison is normal goes for example 32 with stilts its 51 or smth idk but for normal u need acceleration time just like with stilts and hermes makes it quicker making it better

I just got the Hermes shoes and I was starting to think it didn’t increase our speed but now I know the difference

Honestly I use both stilts and Hermes shoes quite frequently. Both have saved me from the nextbots and are good if you need to revive people.

fun fact hermes shoes used to do 25% only but now its 80% with it clearly being better than stilts and if you did use stils it take longer for max speed but still the normal walk into jog to run while the hermes shoes is no walk or jog its all SPEED

This is a complete lie, sure you can trimp a little bit higher with hermes but I got up in the water tower first try with stilts no problem, the emote hopping part is also completely false you can emote hop even faster with stilts at least with the (bold march) the other emotes are the same, you do not go faster on the ground with hermes, you accelerate faster but that doesn't matter because if you jump fast enough you can gain full speed on stilts almost instantly, hermes and stilts are both good and equal imo

should i use hermes shoes when emote dashing? (since im close to lvl 100 im lvl 68)

Tbh I use Hermes shoes only because I’m not consistent bhop yet use Hermes if your not that good at accelerating with bhop and use stilts once your consistent at it because you’d not need acceleration anymore since bhop

I keep my feet to the ground, therefore stilts remain superior.

stitls are also for skills, not trimping, but can be faster

Idk why but in the Maze map I NEVER die like I get downed a few times but I don’t die like ever. That map is super easy for me and it may be because I’m really good at mazes

All this ok, but when carrying someone stilts better, bc nb just cant kill u, bc with stilts u faster than with hermes shoes, so for ppl, who want to revive and sometimes trimping, stilts better, hermes shoes just for trimping and instant revive. Im almost 149 lvl and im using stilts from +-70 lvl

Well stilts makes you faster but hermes is making you go full speed very fast but i still reccomend stilts for big areas and use cola but for hermes is for small areas but still ok
