In my country they also serve ketchup with pizza in some places 😂 mayo and mistard as well 😂 here they’re also putting sweet corn and pickles on some types of pizzas 😅

I’m laughing so much right now at Filippo and his ketchup reaction. Please tell him Tamara, I actually got served ketchup with my pizza in Sorrento about 4-5 years ago. We were driving to Pompeii and saw this lovely restaurant right on the edge of a cliff, placed a bit inside, like a cave. We ordered our pizzas and not one of us mentioned ketchup but the waiter brought it on the table alongside our orders. We are not Americans nor did we have American accents so it wasn’t like the waiter assumed this might be our custom. I would never eat ketchup on a pizza, I agree this is only for fries but that doesn’t change a fact we got it next to pizza in Italy! Have fun you guys and all the best, you really are a great couple! 🌸

OMG!! Ketchup in a pizzeria! Now, this doesn't happen in good restaurants anymore, but I remember when I was little in the 90s (I live in Warsaw, Poland), ketchup and mayonnaise for pizza in a restaurant were the norm. Nowadays, in some places that serve more fast-food-style pizza, you can still order sauces for pizza, such as ketchup or garlic sauce.
