You never know, when you want something really bad it can happen

You are supposed the remove the plastic immediately, because if you don't it's possible that some of the "glue" transfers to the hardware :) The Birkin 30 also only has one front pocket!

I know a lot of people keep the plastic on to prevent scratches or because of the resale value. Others say to remove it right away to prevent stains on the hardware...I waited for about 2 months to removed mine. I didn't get any stains...but if you do, you can also use a little bit of "brass-bleaner" or "silver-cleaner".

I prefer the Kelly bag more...and your hair is amazing, never get lighter again, dark hair suits you better xoxo

Erica Gibson I have both my birkins in Epsom leather and they’re really structured too...it wasn’t until I got my kelly in clemence leather that I actually appreciated the structure ☺️

i like the birkin more, the kelly shhape is very nice but the flap is too stiff and it hangs off the bags not elegantly, also the kelly's color looks dirty and cheap(e.g. compared to you chanel green bag) instead of elegant

Both bags are beautiful and very "young" looking; they're not old lady. To continue, except for the shoulder strap, the Birkin looks more practical because I find that one has to put down a bag in order to open it if the handle is attached to the top flap. Finally, your lipstick is very flattering on you.

FYI, I left my stickers on for a few months and there was some discoloration on the hardware when I removed them. Thankfully it came out completely with a bit of rubbing. I’m not sure if the damage would’ve been permanent if I’d left the stickers on even longer. I don’t even want to know!!! 😩I love your kelly but for me Birkins are perfect in the 30 size because of the longer handle.

Your look 🤩. For me, it’s Kelly for the win. I prefer a little uptightedness (is that a word?) of a Structured shaped bag. And structure is cool both with sophisticated looks as well as a contrast against a relaxed look. I think it’s harder for a more casual bag to go both ways. My dream would be a Kelly with palladium hardware in a deep color like black, navy, darkest burgundy or deepest evergreen. Ahhhh. Yes 😊

You should get a Kelly 25. The small Birkin is too fiddly as you can’t really hang it over your arm.

I personally know that the protective stickers should be removed immediately since they may tarnish the hardware.

Love your philosophy on spending and don't let the haters get to you, your positive attitude always shines and makes me want to watch no matter what the video is. But have you considered buying another strap a "fun" one from valentino or fendi perhaps? makes the bag a lot more interesting in my opinion :)

Same level of importance? What does it matter which one is more "important" or trendy than the other? How about not spending 10K+ on a bag for the sake of the importance/status and just purchase what we like? If that's still the Birkin, then fine, but I have a feeling most people are buying it for the status.

I made the mistake with my first Birkin to leave the hardware stickers on. When I finally took them off, the sticker left an outline on the hardware (where there was no coverage. The sticker does not cover the entire hardware). I now take the sticker protector OFF ASAP. Just a suggestion, remove them!

you can buy transparent stickers to stick them on the metal parts of the bag and it will protect it ... except that I don t know where one can get it exactly.
