the amount of work to detect a "real" Vs "fake is so detailed that in my opinion is only worth for resale. It's a belt, it's designed to hold your pants, no part of it touch the skin. There is no way of recognizing these minute differences while wearing it. Although i can afford "the real thing" I see the value on things for their functionality, durability and/or resale value. Fashion accessories are decorations, expensive ones are made to show your wealth, but you say that people that buy fakes are pretenders, I think a good amount of people that buy overpriced items do it to impress others not because of how good the items are. I have a real Rolex and a fake one, they look identical, and have the exact same functionality, and when I am wearing it nobody knows which one i have on until I take it off to let them examine it with super detail or I tell them.

I do not see it as showing my wealth I buy products of certain brands be course of the quality and that the brand has a good and long history. I can detect a fake product really quickly regardless if it is a fashion designer item or a watch. They are always so way off that people who recognize them can tell.

This guy may have one dupe and one authentic, but this information is definitely incorrect. Hermes has had many variations. I have bought from them only throughout the years and I know that to be true.

It was listed as a genuine but when it arrived it was a fake, and as no surprise the quality is horrible on a fake as usual. Fake products are illegal and people who ware them are not fooling anybody else than them self. I advise you to buy a real one or then buy one that has been used.

The buckle has Hermes written on it if you look at the buckle from the upper side. But be sure to check that it is written in the right way Hermès, not Hermes or Hermés witch some fakes might have. The belt should have writing and a letter inside a box that tells the year of manufacture.

That terrible fake came from ebay. I have noticed them and got my money back via paypal. I would not reccomend buying one of these from ebay, get it from Hermes or a company that specializes in used high end fashion accessories.

It is not a fake, it came from the official Cannon store in Helsinki. I took the video with a Cannon camera witch I got a couple of years back as birthday present. But in the future I will make videos with my iphone 7, it is easier to use than the camera witch has too much shit that has to be adjusted...
