Prof ameiva kabisa. He's truly a source of knowledge. MPs exist to legislate, represent, and to oversight. They don't need to initiate developments in their constituencies. The National/County gvts have instruments and responsibility to do that. They know what's to be done. The MPs only come in to see if the developments have been done well.

I love Karua she went to Alliance like my only sister ❤ The most informative Radio station ❤❤ Prof is a very brilliant and astute leader

The late president Magufuli did that in Tanzania and it worked. A salary for an MP and that is it. Infact he said why would an MP be paid an allowance to sit and debate yet he's been elected for that and more so he has a salary.

No, the real problem is ourselves. We put into office thugs and crooks who obstruct and paralyze progress. All we need is a strong, ethical leadership team - but how to get them in past our gullible, corruptible selves seems to be a gigantic task. Iam so proud that we have chosen Raila/Martha as a first step in the right direction. One of their pillars is fighting ''ujinga''.

It doesn’t matter so long as we have a person of integrity and the citizens of kenya are getting good Governance in terms of Economy, Socially and Politically.

The kenyan public should have and learn to utilize the power of RECALL ,all defunct mps ,mcas, even the president should be subjected to recall and prosecution

The reason we have Kera and Kura is because previoulsy we had a one person in charge of all roads in the minsitry called the inspector of roads engineer. they said when you went to his office you could not even see him because he was hidden behind files piled up like a mountain. basically the inspector of roads was Kura and Kera in one. But the Kibaki admisnitration changed this and created Kura and kera decentralizing roads infrastucture reason why you have an unprecendented number of roads built as it brought more effeciencies in road building. Not just one person was in charge but a team focused on their sphere of infleunce with a director held responsible at either kera or Kura

If the government could've reduced their salaries effectively, and deduct some allowances especially mps since we have governors, noise of politicians and assassination won't be seen, we can have Goood servants but by now, all people are running for money, coz they have more allowances.

When senators and Mps say they will deliver at the constituency or ward level, senators and Mps know they have very little influence. All the iinfluence belongs to the governor because he she holds the purse. The only influence senators and Mps have is to ensure that govevrnors are held to account on services delivery by passing legislation that is water tight on how funds are used, holding the governors and MCAs accountable. Thats the role of Mps and senators. When money is stolen at the county level, how many mps and senators raise their voices and say enough is enough lets come together and pass legislation to ensure funds get to the people. Lets ensure no more in completed projects are the order of the day and follow up. pass legislation that says No more funding new projects until those proposed and on going are completed. Where is the legislation to this effect. Its not just asking for more money for counties, but how those funds are used and this is where Mps and senators come in. How many Mps and senators hold their governors to account.? How many senators or Mps have called for a ward fund to ensure funds get to where the people live instead of funds going to the governor and getting corrupted leaving nothing for the counties, wards, villages etc.

The first day of Azimio Government in power we will be walking into Government offices without paying for services. Most food prices will come down.
