As a visual artist who loves fireflies, I'd say the FEELING of seeing fireflies are one of the hardest things to express in a visual medium like painting or photography, but this captures it so well! It's like watching fairies but in nighttime - basically, that wonderful feeling I get whenever I see fireflies!

Great composition, as always! I do feel that the flute 2 part gets lost a bit, due to the range compared to the upper flutes, but I adore the cloudy effect in the piano and the jittering around of the fireflies in the flutes.

Wonderful! A beautiful piece that is also evocative. Interesting choice to have the 1st flute end on the lower D and the 2nd flute take the octave. I love little details like that.
