By the time you realise it, you are down to your last $1.00. Forex trading is not for everyone. So is construction work, so is farming. It is nice though for day dreaming driving a car like yours. Good salesmanship. You have earned your money well. That can be seen.

Iv been trading FOREX for 2 years now, Finally at the point where im leaving my job as an engineer. Best advice I could give is DO NOT GO LIVE, Stick to your DEMO until you have a strategy which works. Have a long term mindset and compound your account. project it over a year or so and meet those daily goals. Greed will make or break you in this game, I wish everyone the BEST OF LUCK !!

@@MsKopking GoodAfternoon Gulbaz Khan In terms of security make sure that the broker is a member of the regulatory body of your country. E.G I live in the UK - So I hunt for brokers which are FCA approved. If you live in USA - Makes sure theyre CFTC OR NFA approved.. If you live in Australia - make sure theyre ASIC approved. The list goes on. I would also suggest that once you double your account, Withdraw partial profits and make sure its easy to do so ! Look for low spreads and low commisions ideally and MAKE SURE they allow you to use MT4 or MT5 - any credible broker should have facilities to use this application :D Best of luck !!!

I really like how this one was presented! You know, I have to say "I agree" This was very well said. Difficult because influencers spreading false messages about FOREX being easy and people lose money so not helping the industry. A very honest approach to this video! Thank you.It's sometimes difficult to get the message across because traders are reluctant to take advice from other traders. After all, essentially I feel they may think that you are a better trader than them and that fact is true in many regards. But the traders who can admit that they get it wrong plenty of times and accept help are usually the ones who end up succeeding. From our perspective anyway. It's those traders that "LOL" every time someone disagrees with them that you have to watch out for.

The overall point of this video is to basically stick to a strategy that will give you more wins than losses after back testing it a few times of course, but do keep in mind that no matter how great of a strategy it is, and no matter how good it’s setup, there are still going to be times where you lose a trade(s). It’s inevitable and there is simply just no way around it no matter how good of a trader you are. Either way, stay with the strategy and stop with all the tweaking, especially if it’s a really good trading strategy. Keep it simple, void being greedy and NEVER EVER over leverage your account. Follow these simple rules and you will do just fine.

Dont start trading, it's pointless and will be "more" pointless in the future. Trust me *I TRIED EVERYTHING* - easy stuff, hard stuff, I read *EVERY* academic paper on the internet on quantitative finance, algorithms, market theory (structure etc.). I LITERALY KNOW everything on forex, so i can tell you a secret - only brokers profit froms spreads and commisions. That's why they offer courses, "expert advices", fancy indicators and other bs. Forex market follows what is called a *martingale stochastic process* and this means *every trader is destinated to lose all invested money.* There aren't ANY good or bad strategies, because *you cant predict unpredictable.* This comment is a best and fully honest advice an expert can give you.

Yes. People I know are earning 100$ a day (In India), and even on a bad day, either you don't do trading or take amall profit and leave for the day. 100$×5= 500$ per week ie 40000rs in India. That's more than good.

In my case, I had a fraudulent broker later shutdown by the police. I don't feel like trading anymore...

Move like the market maker then you'll less likely to lose 90 % of the time. Dealers induces retail traders to take buys or sells in the beginning of the week then comes the trap move while they are sleeping. Knowing the right entry/divergence/level/trends/time m15 h1 h4 and knowing how to take profit will make you be a better trader. Hint: RSI don't lie. Take your pips and go and don't be greedy.

If you know how to read candle charts, know inflation rate of the desired currencies, and play your cards just right, you can profit in this market. Practise demo account in your college life. The title was incredibly click baitey, but what you said is incredibly true. Forex trading is a commitment to learning and understanding. It's a commitment to overcoming yourself. It's always going to be YOU that screws you...nobody else can do it. I'm getting into learning about forex these past few weeks. I'm making a commitment to myself to learn, not to make money. It's not about money, it's about winning trades. I'm going to use this whole year to learning all I can, and after that year I'll continue learning my whole life. Then I'm going to use demo accounts over and over again for at least 6 months until I'm comfortable trading live. This isn't a get rich quick scheme. Forex is about skill, focus, and most importantly...DISCIPLINE! PS Maybe next time, you shouldn't start with such a title and then show your lavish lifestyle....we need honesty from start to finish.

re nm no offence I will add my comment. You right like a lot forex commentator and coach but pay attention on fact that almost nobody can prove their right with results. After almost 10 years trading and a lot gambling becouse mostly of oversize position I am and I was to impatienceas not enough inteligence to recognize this earlier and stuborn to stop.I can say a lot of people will never achive profitabilyty due to type of characters and long way achead to improve this. And to skip a dispute I will write something which is still ignore , but in my oppinion it economize lot of time and money,Forex do not do this in home alone, organize yourself with others traders as skilled as better and practise common, than you can be inspire and support and risk manager to each otcher.It should be first step to start the same like proprietary trading firms arrange own business. Great stuff. I watch several youtube videos on how to trade in the market but haven't made any headstart because they are either talking some gibberish or sharing their story of how they made it and I do not want to make mistakes by taking risks in my own hands

Most people come into this because they have a get rich quick with no effort mentality and these people will never win. It takes a certain mindset to stick at it so long and get through all the losses until you know the markets well enough to win more than you lose

I was in the cycle of doom , this is so real...

I was once in the cycle of doom for over 2 years!!!! Finally made it out and started working out how to be consistent, it wasn't easy but you need to stick with it! Trading can be worth it, if you dedicate the time to learn and test!

Man this hit deep. I got stuck in this cycle for a year before I hit myself over the head. I just keep it simple now. 1) You cannot avoid losses 2) You will be wrong 3) You are not perfect 4) Consistent gains outweigh sporadic climaxes 5) Just go in. Every trade is 50/50

@@kelvintimothy1544 That's true most people today have been having a lot of failure in crypto and forex sectors because of poor orientation and bad experts

First, I felt a little offended - because I am not trading FX since 30 years, but since 15 years - and I am still alive :). But after listening to what you say it makes perfect sense. I am also using multiple strategies, and I am also from time to time in search of new strategies. But I change my strategies depending on either market types and/or market condition - not because I ditched them for some losses. Therefore I am clearly separating between experimental tweakable and productive, well documented strategies. And - in contrary to every mentor - I also do NOT backtest experimental strategies too long. Instead I use separate relatively small live accounts and put promising experimentals live very fast - just to shorten my learning curve. I always feel better to test on real money - it puts me in the right mood to take it serious. And no, this is not what I do every day. I do it once in a while to prop up my trading toolbelt e.g. for other markets like crypto.

I’ve been doing this for 13 years and I’ve learned the following: 1. Don’t rely on one system. The forex market is constantly changing. That’s why one system won’t work. 2. Don’t bet it all on one trade. This may work a couple of times but I would argue that it will embolden you to do the same thing over and over. You will eventually lose and lose big. You shouldn’t expect to lose more than 5% a trade. If you do more than this, you will be broke in no time. 3. Measure everything. Pick your entry and exit and calculate exactly how much you could gain or lose before entering. 4. Be wary of economic releases. Especially if you have a tight stop. Big releases can move the price wildly in a short period of time. Also, your broker will most likely increase the spread during these releases which can increase the chance of getting stopped out prematurely. 5. Learn to take a loss. If you get stopped out, DO NOT all of a sudden think you need to “get it back”. The best thing to do is to step away and pick your spots intelligently and rationally for your next trade. This is probably one of the most important lessons I learned. 6. Never rely on a trading guru to pick your trades. These people come and go. At the end of the day, you are responsible for your own trading decisions. 7. Fight the “Fear of Missing Out” or FOMO. If you miss getting into a trade, don’t worry. There is ALWAYS another opportunity in the forex market.

So true! I had done this for about 15 years. Now, I just stick with a strategy after backtesting... and after 100 plays following my strategy to the letter.... I judge it based on the actual p/l.

The trick then is to have a realistic goal, stick on it, and although the gains can be small but if done frequently and consistently, the little gains can accumulate.

What you said is right. I had blown up several accounts each of them is1k or 2k, total lost 5k over several years. In addition to what you said, I feel that fear and emotion are hard to over come.

Hi james I was a chief fx trader at a large london city bank for 25 years....our trading room had 14 dealers..The traders were mostly young guys sorry girls but when it gets busy the language can be very bad... You also have to be a speacial type of person......Example be able to talk and hold three phone calls the same time, apart from a bank of telex machines wanting spot and forward rates..You cannot have fear or emotion ...A dealing room is a team unit and you must be able to work with other traders.....i would not recommend any person trying to trade on their own and make a profit.....If i wanted to trade now i do not have enough information on the world markets to be able to trade and make a profit.,,,hope this info helps you and anyone else that might be interested...
