Johnathan Milligan sometimes you just have to pass up a good thing. Just remember that. I recommend you leave that one alone. Although Toyota is a great car. If you plan on buying that car be prepared to spend about $1,500 or better on that car to get it right. If I recall those particular Toyota’s had problems with their cats for a little while. If they are bad and completely stopped up you could risk getting too much back pressure in the system and blowing the engine. If you think just cutting them off and welding up a straight pipe to the muffler is going to be the solution that will not work, because you’ll never pass a safety inspection or emissions test if your state requires it. Plus you’ll be spending a lot more in fuel because the car will run rich or maybe even too lean and that’s not good either. Just not a good idea, toxic fuel fumes could also be a problem. Sometimes another thing to remember would be. You get what you pay for. So it would probably be best to save a little extra money and get something you know will pass inspection. Take it to a mechanic like Scotty who can hook it too a scan tool and tell you what’s really wrong. Not a shade tree mechanic either. Nothing worse than guess work. Real mechanics have the right tools. That’s how they feed their families. Guess work could cost you extra money that’s not even necessary.

Man we were the coolest kids lol everyone knew it was us because of the rumble that car made! Yup she raced it to lol but sadly someone stole it and my mom past away last July but she loved my nova so I'll be making that car in her honor with a big block 427! Cool Z28! I can't imagine road racing anywhere in Colorado these days. It's bumper to bumper traffic on I-70 and I-25, and all the back roads are full of semi trucks and RVs. The one exceptions: If I leave in the morning while it's still dark outside, I can get to Morrison on my motorcycle and occasionally ride some twisties through Clear Creek Canyon before traffic gets too bad. Blackhawk and Central City is usually pretty decent.

It was all white with t tops and yellow bucket seats with hood pins. Not the original engine but a big v8 that's why there was hood pins. I just want one so bad but simply don't have the time. There's a guy who sells them for cheap in a small town but the engines are dead. The shell (as I call it) are surprisingly good, not rusty. He is an old timer with serious money, told me he used to buy them and then go on to the next one, keeping a few with him and selling the rest. I'll will get one as a project car once I have the time.

Great unique story, I don't remember ever hearing a story like this one where it wasn't "dad's" car.. next time start the story "this car's been in my family for years, it was handed down to me, my dad and I have worked on it together, it helps us remember of our dear loved one, who first bought it brand new, and who first raced this car on the track. Yup, you guessed it, my mom" (now every guy reading this stops with a blank stare, processing the typo. No wait, what? Who? His mom? He must be mistaken .. The reader continues to read in awe....

Hey Scotty, I have a 2014 Ford Explorer that jerks really abruptly when going from P>R>N>D, it’ll also jerk at random speeds, the traction control light turns off and “Service advance trak” turns on. When turning the key it sometimes won’t turn on. Few days ago it left me stranded and had to have it towed. This will be my second time taking it to the dealer, and they told me that “everything is fine with the new battery we put in”, they also said that a possible reason for all the jerking was due to “low voltage in the battery” but the car has been jerking for like about a year now. I doubt that a battery with “low voltage” would take a year to die. Anyways, I have to pay $170 for the new battery, and $180 again for the safety inspection. That’s practically $530 for a battery replace .What should I do because there is definitely something wrong with the car they just can’t find any issues with it or don’t want to fix it cause we have bumper to bumper warranty. ANYONE PLEASE HELP !

"Why would you have a car like that? it's so unpractical, it's just a car" these kind of people should leave earth
