That's pretty impressive for an airrifle. You are an amazing shooter. That was awesome! 👍👍
Awesome shot Rick. Keep up the good work.
I like that you didn’t cut out the first three shots, a lot of people would do that and make it as if they made it on the first shot, four shots for that range is incredible as it is. Nice shooting brother.
The paint cans are a awesome idea! Especially with the drone footage! That airgun is crazy cool! Thanks again Big R! Be safe and cya on the next video shooter! 🙏 D
Wow! This exceeds all my expectations. I bought my first air rifle in 1962. It was a Crosman bb shooting springer repeater that was cocked by pushing the barrel straight back. (wish I would have kept that). I shot it till the spring failed. I then graduated to a Sears Ted Williams pumper .22 pneumatic. The pigeons at the the old grain mill hated it. (Which I also pumped to pieces). Never could I have imagined this kind of performance in an air rifle. Fantastic. Thanks so much.👍

This is incredible. Time to buy.
A couple Saturdays back I was on my friends property and they have some 4”x4”x6’ posts at 500 yards out. We went out and put reflective markers on the top of the post and that evening using my Pard NV 700A with my 2-7x scope set at 2x I turned on the Pard and could see the light reflected back. Using a vans passenger door rear view mirror for support while standing I was able to see the JSB 33.95gr heavies fly due to the IR light shining on the backside I could see them fly long enough to know if I was on line with the post below the markers. Had a perfectly clear, windless, breeze less even, period of time that evening and could hear the pellets smacking the post 500 yards away. There was a sizable amount of water that may have been helpful in making the impact audible. Wasn’t loud but we could hear it. Pretty impressive using a 250mm barrel in .25 with a DonnyFL Ronin screwed on to an expansion chamber quieting the Edgun Leshiy 2. Can hardly wait to go back down there and try recreating the shoot but with video footage of it.

I sold a .357 and an outboard, plus saved for 6 months to afford my .22 Maverick. I DON'T REGRET IT A BIT! Got an air tank ($600) and my local Florida scuba shop will fill it to 4500 (310 bar) for $6. I get about 7 to 8 gun refills, about 600 to 800 shots depending on power setting for $6! And it hits like a TANK for a f/n "air" rifle. Do it, take the plunge. It's worth it.

If you do buy one, get ready to shell out another $400 dollars for a whole different barrel to be able to shoot slugs accurately😞 I spent $2300 on this Fx Impact M3 and it does NOT shoot slugs straight, then i was told i needed a different barrel for slugs afterwards which is dumb😡 So i purchased an AEA Challenger Pro and this thing is a beast and is accurate as hell straight out the box for only $800. I've learned my lesson of buying thing's because of people hyping them up just because they have them😂 If you want power and accuracy at a damn great price, go with the AEA Challenger Pro👍 But if you're trying to join the "look at me" crew and spend spend spend, then go with the Fx or even the Dastate, i don't know if you have to buy another barrel with Dastate but that's another overpriced gun that people hype about.😂 Good luck👍👍👍
Nice shooting ! It has me wanting that set up, unfortunately it's way out of my price range. Well, thanks again!

Hey Rick, I don't have a huge budget, so PCP airguns are pretty much out of the question for me if you consider all the gear for me and my kids and 3 guns for hunting. All of my .22 pellet guns are break barrels. Do you think that sticking with shot placement in or behind the ear and using a .22 40 grain slug from a break barrel has adequate fpe for humane harvesting of bobcat, coyote, or feral hogs if shot at a maximum range of 50 yards? Or should I just switch to .22lr? What is your opinion on the necessary fpe and maximum range from a break barrel using a 40 grain slug? Are there any companies that make magnum break barrels that can generate fpe greater than 30? Does switching from pellet to slug and increasing grain weight make that much of a difference or is it more important to focus on shot placement and closer shots ie sub 50 yards? Thanks in advance for your reply. And thanks for the awesome video. Stay Safe, Be Well, God Bless.
That's impressive Rick. It's hard to hit a target the size of a paint can at 300 yards. I shoot a fx Maverick sniper 25 cal out to 300 yards, and the wind kicks my butt.

@@jon9087 Well you got a remember first we don’t know how many takes that took right. And second of all if your gun is set up right and you have a great barrel prepared right. That’s a cake shot . But you really got to know your gun when I winds blowing you Gotta know exactly what hold. So if you’re going to shoot for 100 you’re going to shoot it a lot right you’re going to shoot it and all types of winds. This way you know where you’re going to be and what kind of wind your in. Practice practice practice it always makes perfect and you know with these guns any gun you really got to work with it you Gotta know all the little intricacies and corks of your gun you’re shooting you Gotta know how to hold it right you have to hold a consistent but if you have a tripod set up like 1721 on a bench it makes it simple. That’s why I built that extension for my bipod and I either use a sandbag or a mono pod on the stock end. And believe me the way I’ve extended that bipod past the end of the barrel increased my long range accuracy incredibly probably half the size of a group
Could you make a DETAILED video on how to tune the impact to achieve this type of precision? There's plenty of hunting/ pesting videos out there. We the people see the capabilities these Airguns are built for but the one thing that's missing is video content on EXACTLY HOW the buyers can get these results. So, you guys that know what you are doing, share the knowledge. Let's make this sport what it can be.
@Reculse

Well rules are pretty simple.Avoid transonic sppeeds. And make sure that your valve closes before the projectile leaves the barrel. Also try with different subcalibers which will be more accurate.

They don’t share and that’s what keeps people from buying these guns. You buy the gun and then you need to stick in lots of money and time to get them to shoot straight. You have to be in “the club.”

SHOOTER 1721 AKA BULLSEYE 🎯🎯👍GREAT JOB..
Great show. So far I have not been able to find anyone who has done this test probably because no one has done it so if you decided to do this test you would probably be the first. What I would like to see is a test at 100 yards with the HPSS using a 22, 25, 30 and 35 cal in terms of not just accuracy but penetrating power. Also, at one point does penetrating power drop off with each of the calibers mentioned above. This would be an excellent test for target shooters and if you are a hunter it would give you an idea in terms what distance you can safely kill larger animals like a hog or dear without the worry of hitting the animal and making it suffer by wounding it. You could also do the same test over again with different types of ammunition manufacturers. It’s counterintuitive, but someone tested a 25 and a 30 caliber air rifle same distance (20 yards) the same settings of 70 foot pounds and the 25 cal had about 30% more penetrating power and with wood and ballistic gel and pork loin. The damage of the 25 cal was equal to 30 cal. I think this would draw a lot of interest by viewers. Let me know what you think.
Looking to upgrade my FX Impact M3 to the 800 mm tensioned barrel - which pin probe and hammer did you select? Thanks - truly enjoy your videos
@shooter1721

Tungsten hammer & no pin probe .
Is the best 👍
I know these guns are very accurate anyway but, with the distance and wind effect, you have to give yourself some credit for accuracy. Only 2 misses at 400 yards, good shooting!
