Made this for dinner tonight. Hubby and I were both pleasantly surprised with how much flavor the pasta had!! Amazing recipe.
I always wondered what the secret was to cooking a perfect scallop . This looks phenomenal. I might even add some shrimp to the party . My wife loves capers on her pasta too so she will Love this when I make it

Ide love to make this but scallops are so expensive 😭
Matt, you should remove the little side muscle on the scallop before cooking. It is fibrous and can sometimes be tougher to chew. Just pinch it and pull it off. Also helps with the presentation. Great video, bro.

You forgot to mention the FIRST THING you do before cooking scallops... REMOVE THE MEMBRANE... you just left them on (you can see before and while cooking) and that is NOT a good bite, tough and rubbery. COOKING 101 !!!

@@MrMakeItHappen I am sure you would not leave pin bones in salmon for extra crunch? Or blood line in tuna for some extra rust flavor? Abductor muscle on scallops is same thing, and it is tough and rubbery and you should have mentioned it. No offense intended, it was a simple oversight on your part but hopefully it's common knowledge to remove (like deveining shrimp). And I enjoy your channel, and have been cooking over 50 years (10 professionally) thanks!

Unfortunately that long DraftKings add turned me off, no one is going to sit through all that to get back to your video. That wasn’t there the last time I visited, I won’t be back, but ur a good cook man. Good luck

This is an ad for a casino website.
This recipe is the s#it, period! No need to add your own anything, in my opinion, i used it for scallops, folks were wowed, i had leftover sauce, used the next day to sautee some large shrimp, was just as phenomenal, just as this recipe is, nothing more nothing less!
He was going well until the MSG.
Do you really need to remove that side muscle from the scallop?
