Hey @@nafisforkan5188! Thanks for the feedback. Teal's Resume Builder mimics the ATS and parsing, typically columns don't parse well or translate into systems, which is why we don't currently offer it as a templated format. Likely the system is having trouble reading your resume due to the columns and having difficulty evaluating it. We're also currently working on a better ingestion engine to help mitigate these issues with resume formats that may not parse into systems well.

You didn't get fired. That's how your success was measured. You need to do your own critical thinking and ask yourself if using metrics is actually applicable to you. They only matter in metrics driven industries, otherwise, you're just tossing out worthless numbers.

It’s so silly that this is what they consider a “good resume” now (as far as the percentages). When in reality, it’s just a bunch of ppl lying on their resume with made up results & percentages 😂. They literally make it hard for the applicant and the employer bc I’m sure they’ve looked over some really good long lasting candidates going by these new “rules”. But nonetheless, I’ll be adding it in my resume too 😩. Thanks for the tips !!

Depending on your industry, although it is a numbers game you need to start tailoring your resume (a little bit) and cover letters for each job.
Yeah, sorry, these are tips for young people who don't know any better. You don't need metrics unless you are applying to jobs in metrics driven industries. I've worked in IT for over 25 years and still have no issues getting jobs with bullet points that only outline what I actually did for the company. Any company that actually cares about your abilities would like to know what you're actual skills are and if you used those skills to do the job. If I'm applying for a job as a developer and I list that I completed 1001 sprints and 1 million lines of code, so what? Those numbers have nothing to do with the most important aspects of why you were hired and if you did the job properly. This focus on metrics is where the younger generations get into trouble (and why so many start-ups fail or are trash to work for). When I'm hiring for roles, I want to know exactly what tasks you were responsible for and were you effective at doing those tasks and metrics don't always tell that story.
