Negans story is one of loss, heartbreak, turning cold and numb to the world, loss, awakening, redemption. I never thought I would cry for this character and relate to him.

Negan is one of the most iconic characters in this show. The fact that he went from being the most hated character for killing off our favorite character and then being loved for his dark humor but still hating him, then him being defeated and half the fan base being mad about him not dying to Rick and then after being the in cell for years we saw him become more hopeless and lost and that brought out a lot of the shit he was hiding all those years all the while he keeps his dark humor going that we all love, he then starts redeeming himself in helping Judith, and Lydia and then takes out alpha when we all thought he was going back to his old ways and then we have conflict between him and Maggie but even after 7 years everyone hates him still and bullies him and to see him and the character that hates him most slowly gain trust for eachother and then after saving eachother at the end he’s able to hear Maggie’s side of it after he apologizes because he finally got a wife and kid and understands what it must have been like for Maggie when he killed Glenn. Then by the end after he had screen time getting everyone’s take on what he did back then he finally gets a nod out of Daryl. It’s just insane to see a character being the biggest villain on the show to being one of the most loved characters. To see him once brawling with Rick and the others to seeing him back to back with Daryl Dixon and Maggie Rhee it’s just so fucking cool. I will always love this show and this character. The coolest part is that the show had time jumps to show what time can do to these characters after their dark past against eachother. If you read to the end thank you for taking the time lol. Just a big walking dead fan
