How to get the adult kids out of the house? Lock thier rooms so they can't get into it. Talk to them.....maybe since they hate talking. Restrict them. Take away thier gadgets Move into thier favourite things Follow them around, and moan loudly at everything they do. Like the same stuff they do. Involve yourself in anything they do Be the embarrassing parent. '''Talk about personal stuff'' Leave a mess behind. Padlock the food places. Play loud noises at night. Confiscate anything of theirs.

You’re answering like your punishing your kid for getting bad grades. It’s about adult kids. They probably have jobs and pay for their own things they just won’t move out. That’s why taking away anything/confiscating, not paying, no “privileges”, were all bad answers. None of your answers would work.

I think its because of the question. The question never said that the adult kids are unemployed. And these are 100 parents they surveyed. As much as there are lots of freeloaders who live with their parents in US films and TV, in reality, most stay with their parents because of high rent if they find place of their own. They have jobs.

They didn’t understand the question. The first one who rang the buzzer was on the right track about having sex everyday to annoy them. It’s like asking “how to get your grown adult kid, who just won’t leave out of your house?” They we’re all answering like they were trying to punish their adolescent child for behaving badly by taking away their privileges. This was about “adult” kids who probably have their own car and money they just don’t want to move out of mama’s basement.
