Well, the only one it doesn't would just be psychic, so it's not that big of a deal. Plus, it doesn't have to be your buddy to boost candy when catching.

In the main series games, you can not only have one primal Pokémon and a Mega Pokémon at the same time, but you could also have both a primal Kyogre AND a primal Groudon AND a mega-evolved Pokémon *at the same time*. I doubt Niantic would let things get that hectic, but this could definitely be interesting in-game depending on how it's implemented.

Actually if I'm not mistaken, there is no limit to primal reversion at all so you could even have 6 Primal Groudons at the same time. I might be remembering this incorrectly but I think I'm not.

No. You coul have both primals + mega in your team. No restrictions on having primals

If you haven't already, make sure you're working on getting a Swampert to mega level 3 as not only is it the best water type attacker which primal Groudon is double weak to because it gains the fire type, it also shares a type with both Kyogre and Groudon so you can get more XL candies from the raids.

4:00 I think what Niantic is saying is that once you complete the primal research, then you would be able to have more raid passes, hence what "opportunities" mean.

One important thing, if you DONT HAVE LAS VEGAS TICKET you WONT GET THE PRIMAL ENERGY, CANNT PRIMAL THEM and WONT GET THE MOVES after defeating the raid boss in the first time they debut and you HAVE TO WAIT for GLOBAL EVENT

We NEED Niantic to get the primal reversion music from ORAS into the game for Primal raids. Imagine firing up one of these raids and as soon as the timer hits zero and the screen goes black you get those 4 eery bells of dread, followed by the building drums, then bang Kyogre/Groudon bursts onto the screen and roars as the main melody starts!

The Regi trio theme would also be great every time you encounter one and the deoxys theme for the 5 star raids! We need to get Niantic's attention and make sure this is heard!

I'm just glad I was right. People were trying to convince me that this was some alternate forme that had to be caught--like the alt formes for Deoxys or Giratina--but I felt that this was too similar to Mega Evolution for Niantic to screw this up. Hell, I hope the people who were telling me that are happy as hell that it is not the case, because I am! My hundo Groudon from 5 years ago is READY!! As a side note, the abilities of Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre are more powerful versions of Drought and Drizzle called Desolate Land and Primordial Sea. This has me wondering if they are planning something special for Mega Rayquaza. While it is a more typical Mega Evolution, it does gain the special ability of Delta Stream, essentially "windy weather." Could its release bring boosted Dragon, Flying and Psychic type bonuses?

Im extremely disappointed Niantic is making this identical to Mega when in the main series it really isn't. Mega evolution was a choice and can be activated anytime. Primal Reversion happened no matter what, automatically if they were holding their orbs. This should just be alternate forms to catch like Origin Giratina

Is it really similar to mega energy? I agree it looks like you collect the primal energy similar to mega energy and they level up similar to mega levels. However, it says less primal energy cost with each primal reversion. So therefore it does not state it will be free after a cool-down once you have reverted 1+ times and the cost to circumvent that cool-down is reduced. I suspect you’ll have to keep doing raids to revert each time (and it might be cheap/free at a high enough level…when you have done enough raids and enough reversions done)?

Hey @Trainer Tips, Is there any way to still purchase tickets for Poke'mon Go Tour Las Vegas? My fiancé and I were on the fence because of trying to contact Niantic to make sure amenities for people with auto immune were available but the tickets sold out before we could contact anyone. Its been a huge dream to attend an in person event at least once for us.
