    Pretty much everyone goes there for the pictures. You'd rarely find someone who's actually there to enjoy the experience through his own eyes and not his camera

    climbing everest is itself so expensive . climbing other peaks before this would cost a lost . its something only rich peoples can do .

    11k$ is the government tax and other money is not just the cost to climb everest it is the cost for your training they will train you more than a month, your food cost, your hostel\hotel cost all are added there and just to live in mountain is very costly in nepal as compare to kathmandu because of the transportation cost and geographical condition so you will see the price difference in online and offline because online only shows the product price of kathmandu.
