He got passed up by at least 10 teams for a reason. He was projected to go lottery. Teams were concerned with injury issues with him. Lakers made the correct move 💯

Rockets are a good fit for him..Lakers/Heat/warriors and other teams passed on him for a reason. JHS is a sure bet and will develop into a nice piece

Cam Whitmore fell to #20 for a reason🚩🚩HE seemed disinterested and was allegedly caught vaping in the locker room of a facility where he had worked out for a team. Some say he was out of shape for draft workouts. It added up to a no go for teams like the Lakers and some others.

Passing on Cam Whitmore lowers the Lakers draft grade for me. I give them a B-minus. You have to trust the scouting departments of the Lakers, Heat, and Warriors as they’ve all found gems outside the top 10 picks in the past. Each team passed on Whitmore so there must be something tangible NBA teams didn’t like about the kid. That said, neither of the players the Lakers drafted are elite athletes. This likely means they won’t be able to contribute much until they develop their shots and pick up the system the Lakers run. If the Lakers are in win-now mode neither player drafted tonight is likely to help this season, which very well could be the last of the LeBron-AD era.

Max Lewis isn't what you think he is. He went to many pre draft workouts. If he was all that, he wouldn't have dropped so far.

Hopefully Darvin Scam can figure out how to play the young guys and stop catering to Le old James.
