here's an easy way to paint watercolor hydrangea flowers. Procreate tips and tricks for beginners

How to paint watercolor hydrangea flowers in Procreate. In this video, I show you an fast way to paint watercolor hydrangea flowers even though they are typically a difficult subject.l
😅 stuff I used for this video
I used a watercolor kit along some default procreate brushes:
- Little pine brush (Default brush in the Drawing tab)
- *Smooth round/ water blender brush (from the watercolor kit)
- *Regular paper texture (from the watercolor kit)
*The watercolor kit is a product I sell on my etsy store to support the channel. These tools support this KZread channel where I post new tutorials every week. If these tools are too expensive, it's ok, please contact me on my Etsy store and I will love to help you ☺️ Here are the links to my Etsy store:

(I'm very active on Etsy and you can contact me directly if you need anything or if you want a refund.)
If you cannot afford the brushes/texture, please message me on my Etsy store in the links above and I can help you. I love to teach art and help traditional artists try out digital painting. The income from the Etsy store makes this project remain financially sustainable. I really try to use the best hardware and software I can afford and make the videos as good as I possibly can. Currently I am building a new recording booth in my office so I can use a better camera arrangement and microphone position.

I just finished this, it was easier than I thought it would be! 😀The duplicating technique saves so much time and my arrangement still ended up looking realistic (and not all samey) thanks to your tip on creating variation with the selection tool. Thank you! 👏

Thank you so much! I really want to improve my videos, especially for beginners. Can you describe a few examples of steps that went too fast? I will keep this info in mind for future videos ❤️

@@calvinatdrifterstudio8438 The mirror and warp tools are new to me. You are the only one I have seen use them. It would be great if you could share how and when to use them. Thanks for teaching us!

Beautiful! At the end I felt like the top flowers weren't defined or light enough so I freehand selected them and lightened them. It looked great.

great idea! Often at the end of painting, I will look over everything and try to improve the contrast. Sometimes you can also make a curve adjust within a freehand selection and it will give you a finer control over the lightness. Sometimes you just have to draw a very faint outline ☺️

My dog is currently laboring and about to pass away. All I want to do is watch someone draw draw draw while I stroke his little paw to keep myself from losing it! Illustrating is the only thing that calms me down. It hurts so much. Oh God, it hurts!

Hello ! I’m sorry , if I bother you, I have a question. Because I bought some paper texture from you, I saw the canvas with size 4000px-5000px, it’s pretty big compare to my ipad size, is it okay if I resize your canvas smaller and I can get more layers to draw? 😢 I still draw picture with smaller canvas size and my picture with color, texture is still okay? I hope you can support me with this question 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Thank you so much from Viet Nam 🇻🇳

I think it diffuses and softens the effect so it looks more natural rather than a harsh contrast!
