Here's a System you Can Use to Remember Anything

The Memory Palace is a popular technique almost all memory champions use, but we have good news:
You don't have to be a memory champion or have some special talent to use it. Simply thinking in a different, creative way will help your brain remember the things you want to remember.
Studying for a test? Use the memory palace.
Trying to impress a date? Use the memory palace.
Prepping for a presentation? Use the memory palace.
Hungry and need to make food? Use the mem- Wait, just go make food.

Thank you Shane and Dalton it's great insight and learning reference. Though had a question, how can you remember / learn something which is textual heavy like books? It would great if you could share videos and thoughts for a person with learning difficulties.

While the memory palace is certainly a good method, I feel it is really just useful when you want to remember disorganized data. The method then artificially creates connections between the data you have to remember, which is very helpful. However, if you want to remember stuff that already have a more logical structure to it, like mathematics, the memory palace techniques actually makes it worse by introducing articifial logical connections that obscures the real logical connection you need to remember instead, So instead of learning associating how one concept leads to the other you fill your brain with nonsense about cows on a porch chewing grass and similar. This is not helpful. The memories themselves of the concepts is not the main point of mathematics, but rather how concepts are logically connected with each other. The Memory palace technique is very neat though, but if it is to be adapted to remember information with a logical structure, it cannot just be applied blindly. I have thought a bit of this problem, but so far I haven't come up with any real benefits of using a memory palace in this setting.
