Barn is looking nice. As your breeding hogs grow the sows will eventually get to be 500 pounds or more. Hogs that size can damage your steel walls just by rubbing against them. It will probably be necessary to add some 2 x rub rails to protect the steel. Thanks for sharing your lives with us.

Not sure what your plan is for the interior roof of barn, but if you plan to leave it open, I would install 3/4” bird netting at a min. You avoid the nesting in the rafter and help stop the potential transfer of disease to your chicken / other animals

Good morning from cold Alberta, Canada. It is - 47 C at the moment. Wind chill has it feeling like -54! Got almost 2000 steps in already, so not too bad for an old 74 man. Seeing you guys work so hard in your winter is inspiring for me. 80% done building a log house, 1100 sq. Ft. No work today except to feed 3 different wood stoves. We love your daily shows, wonder if you guys ever sleep? A huge thank you for the great quality and consistent posting.

Good Morning Good People!!! That is ‘Pure Snow’. Not a bit of tinge to it. It’s currently 35f, feels like 28f in West Central Georgia. We’ve got winds off of the Chattahoochee River. This is freaking cold 🥶 for us. Supposed to be 20f tomorrow morning. We usually only receive four days of 20s in Winter and not concurrent 😂🎉😊 Snow is a rarity. If our capital, Atlanta receives 1” of snow or more…the entire state shuts down. We’ve only had Sand Trucks since the early 2000s 😅 With that said, Georgia Power is always on the ready to head to any state needing their power restored. SO, anyone locked in a serious weather forecast, please stay safe, stay strong and most importantly stay warm as possible. Everyone please have a blessed day today and every day 🙏🙏🙏 🌎❤️😊

Good Morning from Dee Dee in Georgia. It's warm down here in comparison. :-). Loving the build & results while rehabbing my health. Your channel is always an inspiration, Thank You! Been here since the old homestead, was pretty healthy then. Age has not been kind to me. But I'm not a quitter. You'd be surprised just how far back I've come. All while looking forward to your vlogs. Love you all! Can't wait to see the animals in their shelter either. Love seeing the snow. It's rare down here.

You may want to consider 4 foot high kick plates in the cow stall & pig stalls. I use 5/8” - 1” thick full plywood sheets attached horizontally in my stalls for kick plates & they have worked great for 30 years. No blow throughs & no injured / cut animals.

Why not park the tractor in front of the barn entrance to keep some of the snow blowing in, and only one half of the tractor will be snow covered. Also spread some saw dust out new the entrance where the snow blows in so it stops the floor icing up if you want. Keep safe and get the wife to wear an old high visibility jacket over here coat to save the coat from catching in sharp edges. Bye from us in the UK.

Good morning Lumnah family from a 2°F morning here in the Pacific NW with the furnace and the water off due to cold! Good morning other viewers. The water meter froze up! My brother-in-law thawed it out in the oven and we have water again. The furnace needed a little tweaking and is going again too. The cows look happy in the sun. The goats and 297 look happy too! Great job getting the inside metal panels going. So sorry about your hole in your coat Gina! That tin is very sharp! I'm glad you didn't get cut. Nice duct tape patch Gina. Cute replay of Al's losing his balance. The J-track around the door looks very nice. I'm glad you were able to get ready for the snow. The plowing looks fun with the TYM. It will save the pick-up! Wow, 7 inches of snow! Happy Birthday Sam Valentine! 🥳🎂🎉 I couldn't find your comment so I guess I'll just wish you a Happy Birthday here! Thanks for this video Lumnah family!
