Now available for sale, HERE COMES THE SUN is a family yacht designed around luxury ocean-living. Welcoming, elegant, and beautifully laid out, she returned to Amels for a 6m/20’ extension which saw the addition of two VIP staterooms, a new helipad on the sundeck, a 60sqm swim platform and a new color scheme and paintwork.
Completed in 2021 and masterminded by the original naval architects Azure Yacht Design, the rebuild project team successfully streamlined Tim Heywood’s original exterior design while the spirit and style of Winch Design’s custom interior and choice of materials was preserved throughout.
Offering elegant and functional guest and crew facilities across 6 decks, Here Comes The Sun accommodates up to 20 guests in 10 staterooms including a six-room private Owners’ apartment on the dedicated Owners’ deck. The apartment with port and starboard balconies includes a forward-facing master stateroom, “His” private bathroom and study, and “Her” private salon, dressing and bathroom.
Guest accommodations include two spacious VIP suites on the bridge deck with walk-around beds facing outwards onto 12-meter-long private balconies. Four of the seven additional guest staterooms on the main deck can be connected, forming two suites, each with a bedroom, sitting room and two bathrooms.
Guest areas have exceptional headroom of over 2.20m/7’2” and cover an impressive 800sqm/2,624 sq ft. In addition to the main deck salon and sky lounge each with dining areas, there is a cinema with a full-size projection screen retracting to reveal a 100-inch TV. An elevator serves all decks from the lower to the sundeck.
People oriented rather than design oriented, the over 1,000 sqm / 3,280 sq ft of decks complement the spacious interior offering a haven of relaxation and alfresco living. Outdoor highlights include a huge sundeck with a forward-facing whirlpool and gym and multiple sunbathing and entertainment areas. On the main deck, a 7m by 4m pool with contraflow jets is deep enough to dive into.
Guaranteed to impress, the beach club, which opens on three sides thanks to fold-down doors port and starboard, adjoins a fully equipped wellness center which includes a sauna, steam room, plunge pool, hairdressing salon and massage area.
HERE COMES THE SUN is equipped with two helicopter landing decks, a ‘touch and go’ helipad on the bow and a new landing pad on the sundeck. Both can land a Bell 429 or an EC 145.
Stored in the full-beam garage with port and starboard shell doors, are a 9m/29’5” D-RIB and a 10.5m/34’4” Limousine both custom-built by Yacht-Werft, plus a 7m/22’9” Nautique ski boat and two Ski Doos.
Built to LY3 with on-board comfort enhanced by zero speed stabilizers, this fantastic Dutch-built yacht is powered by two Caterpillar engines. At 13.5 knots, she has a 7,100 nautical miles range while her top speed is 17.5 knots.

A very nice interior , its soft, not mellow ...but soft and inviting, that gentle style ,its a contemporary, yes, but its not over done !! just the right amount !! And its not that aggressive contemporary, or minimalist brutal slash finish that a lot of yachts come with these days. The way ship is done and it presents it self...well... I like it a lot. TH
I cannot imagine how rich you have to be to own and run a yacht like this. It is truly beautiful, so understated and classy inside and out.

No sweat , you don't have to by this Yacht, you can Charter a nice one for about $50k/wk, this one, won't likely be on the Charter market anytime soon, but I bet if it was,, it would be a cinch at $700k +- /wk, not including expenses. APA.

I think this just became my favorite yacht. The interior is outstanding. The extension is on point. The navy hull is a favorite. She is perfection.

The quality of a yachting experience actually has more to do with the quality of the crew than it does with the yacht itself. To that end, the details omitted in this presentation are IMO utterly critical to a prospective buyer. There is a limit to how attractive one can make a yacht to prospective crew, and if you truly want the best crew possible, it behoves you to have great crew quarters and facilities. The layout of these areas and crew accessibility should not be skipped.

My guess is that the remodel (adding 6 meters) was primarily a means of including the qualified Heli Pad. Beautiful Yacht, I didn't see it before remodel.

How lucky, I was looking for the boat with the best spa of any other boat under 3000 gross tonnes. I found one with a pretty good spa, but it was 3200 gross tonnes so I didnt want it.
Talk about going above and beyond.
What I find funny is that so many of these 'megayachts' all brag about their bold design but somehow all look pretty much identical with minor / subtle differences. They are 'boat-shaped'.
Nice boat but it will not fit in my garage so I think I'll pass 🤣

those are actually two questions. He would need more than 1mn per year, as the asking price for this dinghy is 195mn. If he earned less than a mn, it would take one 195 years. Rather unlikely to happen. And then the running cost. Rule of thumb is between 10-20% of net value. Hence around 19.5mn a year. Still would take 20 years to only afford one year of running. So clearly, in a well regulated society it is fairly straight forward why 1mn wouldn't cut it. You are welcome 😌
