Lol, it was one of my first knives and the action was shit, a flipper that wouldn't flip. I decided to take it apart. It was lockteghted so bad it took me almost three hours to get it apart, and the hardware took a hell of a beating! Even after cleaning and lubing it, i thghtened it to the point there was barely noticeable blade play, and i still couldnt get it to flip. So it just sat there for years. When I got my case I came across it again, took it apart again 5 times. Tried it dry, tried it lubed, she just wouldn't loosen up...HEYOOOO!!! I even tried loosening up the pivot to the point there was like 2 3/4 inches of side to side blade play and it still wouldn't open without a strong flick of the wrist. Bearings weren't seized, washers weren't warped, pivot and pivot hole on the blade were both smooth as a baby's ass. Only thing I can think of is the steel is a little wonky right where the bearings ride which is extremely rare but does happen no matter how good oem is, and sometimes will slip through QC in the budget level brands. So I don't think it's fixable but I hate to toss a knife... if u want u can send me ur shipping address, I'll send her to you if you wanna take a crack at her. You can keep it either way.
