HERCULES: The Legendary Journeys Panel - Wizard World Virtual
Hercules: The Legendary Journeys actors Kevin Sorbo, Bruce Campbell and Ted Raimi gave a virtual cast panel through Wizard World Virtual Experiences 2020 to discuss this amazing show, their careers and answer fan questions.
Kevin Sorbo played for seven seasons on Hercules: The Legendary Journeys as the title character and that show became one of the most watched shows worldwide. He went on to play Captain Dylan Hunt in the sci fi series Andromeda, plus had other roles in Kull the Conqueror, Supergirl, Meet the Spartans and a number of other movies and shows. (In this panel, he wears a "Disappointed" shirt. Fans get it.)
Bruce Campbell played Autolycus in Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, but is also known for many other roles, including The Evil Dead, Army of Darkness, Burn Notice, Ash vs Evil Dead, Spider-man, Spider-man 2, Spider-man 3, The Replacements, plus voice work in Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure and The Last Kids on Earth. Plus, he’s the host of the game show Last Fan Standing, which has been seen at many conventions and virtually through Wizard World currently.
Ted Raimi was Joxer in Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, but has also appeared in Ash vs Evil Dead, plus Deadwax, Twin Peaks, Buddy Thunderstruck, Code Monkeys, Legend of the Seeker, Supernatural, Drag Me to Hell, The Grudge, Xena: Warrior Princess, SeaQuest 2032 and many more.

Xena had Action. But, Hercules had Heart. I loved Kevin Sorbo's Hercules. I love the 1990s.
Kevin started the whole genre with the Action Pack…pretty ppl, lots of skin, beautiful settings, simple plot…it really worked tho, in a good way. Launched Xena and countless other shows. Media kinda dotes on Lucy but Kevin literally created that whole world.

YEAH! The original! HTLJ was a definite MUST SEE every Saturday in the 90s. Great seeing these wonderful actors talk about this unique, game-changing show. Love how they mimic the Kiwi accent lol 😁
Oh my God by the way on Ted Raimi saying about the Hercules and how it was played before Kevin he is so correct. I'm a huge fan of most of those old Hercules movies from the 60s and 70s and just Sheila and me loved how Kevin played Hercules. We also loved the best friend he had in Iolaus. Michael Hurst is awesome and mad love to Kevin Smith who played Ares, we love you, we miss you, and you went way too soon.

Hey Kevin, don't forget Beastmaster! In the latter half of the 90s there was a lot of shows that a sci-fi and fantasy fan just ended up loving that came out of New Zealand and Australia. The favorite that my wife and I have is "Jack of all trades".

Ted Raimi only appeared on 3 episodes of Hercules: The Legendary Journeys as three different characters: Joxer, Joxer 2 and Alex Kurtzman. He should have appear as Joxer for at least one more episode in season 6 since season 6 was the final season of Hercules.

For our host it may have been Friday night but for us in California, Sheila and me were watching it on Saturday afternoons at 4:00. Yeah no disrespect to Ted but he was only in a couple of episodes of Hercules, he was mostly in Xena. I would have much rather have seen Michael here this particular time.

Besides Michael, Meighan Desmond or even Joel Tobeck would have even been better who was in more episodes than Ted & was also the son of the actress that played Hercules' mom & might have other stories...
