Featured music are a tool we use to gather attention. Using an already-known cover wouldn't gather as much attention as using a brand new cover. That's the reason you're favourite youtube cover isn't featured in big production movies ;) Still an amazing cover, props to the artists.

This is awesome for sure. My son is still very young by comparison at 10 months old and has developmental issues but responds to music especially rock and metal. So to have such amazing artists create more modern versions of classic "kids" songs is a true treat. Being able to share childhood experiences with our kids no matter the medium used is special but especially with music since it can transcend generations
I'm 60 yrs old and just starting treatment for cancer. To help face it every morning I start with Triumph's 'Fight the good Fight' and this song. Thanks for inspiring on old rocker dad.

SIR. I have synesthesia, meaning sometimes the wires in my brain get crossed and I experience multiple senses at once. For instance, I see colors when I listen to music. It always looks like a galaxy or an oilspill of different colors depending on the voice. Your voice is a night sky blue with swirls of grey and deep rich red. It’s so beautiful to look at, and this was such a perfect song to experience it to!! 🖤🖤

I have often dreamed of a far off place Where a hero's welcome would be waiting for me Where the crowds would cheer, when they see my face And a voice keeps saying this is where I'm meant to be I'll be there someday, I can go the distance I will find my way if I can be strong I know every mile would be worth my while When I go the distance, I'll be right where I belong Down an unknown road to embrace my fate Though that road may wander, it will lead me to you And a thousand years would be worth the wait It might take a lifetime but somehow I'll see it through And I won't look back, I can go the distance And I'll stay on track, no I won't accept defeat It's an uphill slope But I won't loose hope, 'till I go the distance And my journey is complete, oh yeah But to look beyond the glory is the hardest part For a hero's strength is measured by his heart, oh Like a shooting star, I will go the distance I will search the world, I will face its harms I don't care how far, I can go the distance 'Till I find my hero's welcome waiting in your arms I will search the world, I will face its harms 'Till I find my hero's welcome waiting in your arms

I stumbled across you recently with the Valhalla Calling video you did with Miracle of Sound and Eric Holloway. I fell in love with your music, and now I find this. The message was powerful to me, and hearing you bring this classic back into my life seemed like a direct message to me. I ultimately refound who I was and the drive and passion I had when I started in this field, and want to thank you for reigniting the Love I have for helping others. Bro that would actually be an awesome movie. Make it even bigger than that. Taylor Momsen was Cindy Lou Who when she was a kid. Could make a giant rock disney movie. Lots of big names. Then they could do a short movie tour
What an amazing version of this beautiful Disney song. Tears running down my face , I feel every word you say and it touches my heart.. Lost so many loved ones(my dad and my soulmates my cats...still have 15 a live) and this is a song of hope that I have to keep fighting so I live my life and than one day we all meet again and never let go ever again. Thx🌈🌟❤️
As someone who's about to go into basic training, I really needed to hear this. Thanks Peyton!
Hercules was a huge part of my childhood me an my best friend would watch it non stop, I lost my best friend to cancer when we were teens so this made me cry cause I know she would have loved it so much
4/29. YOUR DRAMAT IC PERFORMANCE KNOCKS ME OUT!
Everything about this song - the music, your voice, the scenery, it's really uplifting. I don't have a cool story like a lot of other commenters, but this video really makes my day. I love rock and I love Disney and your videos are the most amazing mixes of the two I could ever find, so thank you so much for your amazing talent.
Come across Peyton Parrish by accident so glad I did sound amazing can't stop listening. 🖤 Wales
Mr. Parish, Hercules was my first Disney movie, and hearing your cover brought genuine tears to my eyes. Thank you for all you do and know your work speaks to and reaches alot of people going thru rough times. GBY
Love to see you all putting spins on Disney songs, and I hope you keep it up! Many of us grew up with these songs, so your renditions are, in a way, letting the songs 'grow' with us. You manage to preserve and refine the original tune, and it's an amazing thing to hear. I look forward to your next song.
Thank you for this Peyton. This brings me tears of joy and nostalgia. You and your band are such talented beings
One day, when we see God, I imagine this is what it will be like , the feeling, to hear our Divine Father finally tell us, That's my boy, you made it! It is so true though, a heroes strength is measured by the strength of his heart, and not by the size of his strength. Great rendition, thank you. This and lucas grabeel are wonderful.
This brought me to tears...Peyton, this awoke something in me that I didn't realize was asleep. Thank you for sharing your incredible gift with the world.

Hasn't brought me to tears yet, but hot damn this was a good one. His gift is one for the books and I'm sure he's got plenty more for us to enjoy.
My god this is fire!!! His voice dose such justice to the song. 🤘🤘
I grew up with Hercules, this is by far the best version of it. It gave me massive chills! Thanks good sir!
I would cry tears of joy to hear you sing anything from The Hunchback of Notre Dame

Actually, Apollo was the god of music, so would be the one with this epic voice.
Just discovered Peyton, what an awesome singer.
I love this song and what you've done with it. It's a faithful twist that sticks to the classic we all love with a thoughtful expansion that builds on the theme which makes it uniquely yours. Excellent work and keep it up
Peyton Thanks man! My brother is deployed overseas. And the wait for this song has kept us in contact almost everyday. An absolute BANGER🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 definitely my favorite!
