Thank you for viewing one of my favourite Disney movies. Hercules is such an adorable character, and the movie is very entertaining. Brandon have you watched Tangled (2010)? I think it's underrated as well.

Well that's too bad

There's times when it sounds like Zeus is being voiced by John Goodman. We all know it's Rip Torn voicing him...but all in all I could've sworn John Goodman voiced a character in an animated movie at some point in his acting career.

Great review! Hercules is an excellent movie and I absolutely LOVED Hades. Another underrated Disney movie is TREASURE PLANET. Beautiful music exciting story relatable characters AMAZING art work I just can't believe most people I know haven't even heard of it such a shame!

I think both the original Tron 1982 movie and it’s sequel Tron Legacy are really under appreciated. Both are fantastic and classic, especially the first one. Thanks for reviewing my favorite Disney movie, Hercules! Glad to see you like it and have a fondness for this amazing film.

Glad hear another Disneys Hercules fan💪. Not one of my favorite Disney movies, but i liked this movie what it was. Maybe because how unique and different compare to other Disney movies and its so damn fun. I liked all characters and as much i like Hades as villain, but for me Meg is true show stealer. I respect your opinon on Meg, but i love her feisty and sassy attitude and Susan Egan did fantastic job voicing her and Pain and Panic and Phil are so funny and Hercules himself is easily the most heroic Disney characters and i liked that at the end he wanted live with Meg and i respect that and it warms my heart and i freaking loved the Muses and everytime time they are singing im in heaven with those ladies. Best storytellers ever! I really like songs in this movie and i think they are underrated Disney songs. Go The Distance is just beautiful and inspirational song and i love how I Wont Say Im In Love tells Megs true feelings and every time i hear Zero To Hero i just want to freaking dance and it has the most rhythm than any other Disney song i loved it. This can be controversal opinon, but i think that Go The Distance should have won Oscar over My Heart Will Go On from Titanic and i think Hercules soundtrack is better than Lion King’s soundtrack and Frozens soundtrack. Please dont kill me, but i like Titanic, but that song got really old for me 😒. Its fine, but nothing special. Overall Hercules is not greatest Disney movies, but very fun and enjoyable movie and it always gives me smile to my face and If movie has done its job than im happy for that 😊. Great review man! I actually haven't seen this movie. for me the most underrated disney movie is probably Brother Bear, I saw that movie quite often when i was younger and i think it has quite a unique premise for a disney movie. i really like brother bear 4/5 for me

Tarzan is very underrated. I liked that they tried to stay faithful to the source material and I love all the songs by Phil Collins. I am one of the people that isn’t a fan of Hercules. My issue is they strayed too far from the mythology.

I didn't have a problem with that. Disney has taken MANY liberties with almost all of their classic movies when it comes to the source material

OK I love this film it is so good! It is so magical I love it! The characters have such great voices! It is recommended for children! This film has such lovable songs! I love them! Yay!

This is one of the lesser Renaissance movies to me, but I still enjoy it quite a bit. It has fantastic animation, some lively characters, and catchy music like Zero to Hero. I just wish the story was a bit more cohesive and focused which keeps it from being one of my favorites, but still a lot of fun.

Coleman Paulini Yes, but I believe that she is the new 007 because James Bond is technically retired at the beginning of the film and naturally, MI6 would need a replacement. But there is NO WAY that she is flat out replacing Craig as JAMES BOND

I have to say I also don't really consider Hercules as part of the Renaissance of 2D Disney either haha even though it's one of my favourites and has the best humour. Classics like Beauty and the Beast, Lion King felt very epic and I felt the detail in animation was far more detailed and cinematic. I feel like those movies are best seen in the cinema. When Hercules came out it was already in the late 90s when 2D cartoons were heading towards straight to VHS and TV instead of the cinema....it was already heading down the Lilo and Stitch direction. I also felt that Hercules was kind of a satire of the Renaissance Disney....I'd say it was a precursor of the Shrek genre in terms of humour. Hercules deconstructs the Villain and as you mentioned he isn't scary in the traditional sense and Meg is not the usual hopeful romantic...she is cynical and "doesn't need a man" even though ironically her problems started because of a man. Regardless it is a good film, probably the last good one from Disney from this era. I agree about the music...it is so catchy and FUN which pretty much sums up this movie.

@@BrandoCritic Same it is a fav of mine too but when I think of the golden era, Hercules doesn't come at the top of that list probably because it leans more towards Shrek which is a different compartment/ style in my head. Aladdin had some pop culture in it because of the genie but everyone else played it straight, in Hercules it's everywhere, so that's probably why I don't see them the same way.

Oh wait he voiced Rex the dinosaur in Were Back. Just remembered.

@@BrandoCriticIn all honesty We're Back is my least favorite animated movie. I only saw it once when I was like 8 or 9 years old and I only remembered John Goodman voicing Rex. I'd prefer him in 10 Cloverfield Lane as an amazing villian who seems generous and polite when we're first introduced to him in that. I sure miss him back in the Roseanne episodes as Dan. "Daaan"
