Aw shucks, thank you, Grama! I'm so glad you enjoyed the music. On a technical note, it's not strictly flat picking. Years ago I saw Richard thompson in concert and I saw how he used a plectrum between his thumb and index finger but also used his other free fingers to pick the strings. It was a big AHAH moment. You can have a flatpicking style without having to spend years working on crazy precision with the plectrum! Thompson has taken it much further than me and can strum chords and bass with the plectrum and pick out melody with his fingers at the same time 😮 but that's another matter...

Thanks for sharing your knowledge and wisdom with us once again. I like to think I am of an 'egalitarian' nature. I truly believe women are equal to men and that needs to be acknowledged as well as manifest in societies and cultures. No doubt women are still greatly oppressed all over the world and in so many societies. Truly the oppression, degradation and abuse women endure is not only shocking (to me at least - hopefully to most others as well) but morally contemptuous. Thank you also for sharing your herbal knowledge and wonderful video views of your garden, home and rural neighbourhood. Here too, May and into June has on the cooler, wetter side. Still though gardens here are full of beautiful blooms, plentiful herbs and growing vegetables. Have a wonderful summer where you are. Take care. Cheers!

Hello I normally watch this on a Sunday - but the beautiful weather the last few days I have been working in my garden - enjoyed the solstice by putting a 'alter' in my greenhouse using nature, fairies, crystal and wind chimes and lighting candles inside and burning beautiful palo santo and sage. Beautiful. Today, I watched this beautiful podcast and it was inspiring and loved the information about the goddess - I was also celebrating my femininity whilst out in the garden and it was lovely to hear you talk about this. I have enjoyed the show today with the gorgeous videos of the animals in the fields and the flowers. 💐 I went to my blueberries and picked a gallon so far from one bush. My raspberries are done until the fall. I had gotten about a half gallon of them. I live in Mississippi where I have tried for years to get them to grow and I finally get them to. My camomile is blooming so nicely. I have been picking that flower for tea. My dog gets scared of storms so I place the flowers into his water bowl and it has helped him to calm down.

Thank you for speaking up for those of us who have forgotten our power. Thank you for the reminder. Women are creators and healers and yes we need strong men beside us and wake everyone up to notice what’s going on!

Oh Terri, you are Ireland's Treasure. I am in tears after watching such a powerful, informative video. Actually I was in tears beforehand, from finding very valuable information in your Volume 1 weed book. I feel I have the power to save my dog, and it came from you!. On Friday, he was bleeding from a huge cyst/tumor/growth from his back left side. It was small a week ago when Dean groomed him. The vet wants to operate for $3000.00 but says it may come back. The plantain plant in your book stood out when I read it last year, so much so, that I found one and put it in a pot, so I'd have more. Now I can make poultices and put them on Blue's growth. It is seeping with some blood,, the size of an orange. It was the blood that alerted Dean. Blue is very hairy and the vet shaved all his hair off the area. He is on anti biotics, which I don't agree with, but Dean does. You are so special. Words are inadequate. Thank you very much for being in this world & sharing. Sunday, I went to a full moon ceremony called Despacho, where flowers, and seeds are gifted to nature. The ceremony originated in the Andes, with the shamans. I thought of you and how much you would have enjoyed it. Now to locate St. John's Wort seeds to grow. Your video is so synchronistic with the ceremony I attended Sunday with flowers and the ability to help heal my special doggy. Blessings to you & all Ireland...love & light, Bea

What a beautiful video, thank you very much. It is touching to hear the love with which you talk about our nature and all these wonderful beneficial plants around us. I'm watching from Romania, and it's very hot these days. We also have and love St. John's wort, these days are her days, we look for her in the meadows. We call it with a feminine form of "sonorous" and often as "Mother Mary's tears" because of her pain and suffering and the ruby ​​colour of the tea and oil from this plant. It is sad and also significant this association with women, as you said, they were and still are, considered inferior, and as long as we feel that way, we will not get our strength back. Because women are strong and powerful. Thank you gratefully for your videos! ❤ You are a blessing for all of us.

It’s a very powerful practice. There are 21 emanations of her that resonate with different emotional states or different situations that need to be dealt with. Thank you so much for adding your wise voice to the chorus of women who see exactly what’s happening to us with the attempted erasure of women and the downplaying of the complex experiences we all share simply by inhabiting a female bodies. When I hear “chest feeding” or “pregnant person” all I hear is the pandering to someone who was born female, but is such a misogynist they’ve rejected all things female-except (of course) the side that makes us the magical creators of life. Telling women “men can bleed and birth too” is misogyny. I highly recommend the podcast called “The Witch Trials of JK Rowling” for a good listen on this topic. On an herbal note, I’m waiting patiently everyday for my St John’s Wort to bloom so I can make my infused oil too 🌞

Your message is so powerful Terri! I think more women are finally standing up & together with each other. More than i ever remember in my life. Not looking at each other as needing to compete. But, looking at each other as beautiful, powerful people. Regardless of our age or occupation or background & so on. We have to! Why some men feel so threatened by us. It is sad & disgusting. Thank you for this video! The St. John’s Wort is huge this year, along with Fever Few, so I’m harvesting daily trying to fill every jar with tea bags, oils, honey infusions and dried herbs. We’re in a heatwave that’s exhausting my energy, but my tea blends that I’ve created are helping balance my mood and relieve inflammation.

Yes I totally agree with your opinion that this abhorrent mindset concerning women. To me it is an evil dismantling of our society. Thank you for speaking out.

Very wise words, Terri, and I learned SO much from this video! Troubling times indeed for women…. I love the idea of the Divine Feminine. So much to think about today! And so nice to see the sun in your area! In my part of Canada we are having a very wet and humid summer, so seeing sunshine in your video has lifted my spirits.

Thanks for going over the use of fresh vs. dried plants, too! ☺️ I appreciate your story about the Goddess, Aine. 💕Yes, the destruction of women's rights is very frightening here in the U.S., as well. Judges without any medical background are criminalizing reproductive healthcare in many states. It's beyond disturbing and shocking that this is happening in the 21st century! Anyhow, on the bright side, I love all of your beautiful flowers, Lol's wonderful guitar playing, and your sweet dogs frolicking all around. Greatly appreciate your wise woman wisdom. Good for you to bring Light to this very important subject matter! I did hear about a Statue of the Mother and child being removed from a sacred water and garden site by the custodians and then placed somewhere out in a meadow. This is hard to hear about in this very day and age still happening. Keep shining Light on this…and Thank you! 🙏🏻💕🌎❤️☀️
