Herbie The Love Bug’s 53rd Anniversary Car Show Hot VWs Magazine

The 53rd Herbie anniversary event day three was a special judged car show created primarily to recognize the Herbies that traveled across the country and Canada. It was held at the Tanger Outlet Mall in Daytona Beach. Non-Herbie VWs were also welcomed to the show, which turned into more than 200 cars gathering. We also got more Herbies on Saturday; there were somewhere close to 50 cars in attendance.
All of the Herbies were placed in the center of the show area. There was a large 2400 sq. ft. tent set up for people to get out of the sun and to enjoy some great music from one of the best duos in Central Florida, The Dukes out of Orlando, who have been keeping the music from the ‘50s and ‘60s alive by singing a unique blend of Doo Wop and Rock & Roll.
The event once again had one of their favorite movie stars, Joaquin Garay III, a.k.a. Paco from Herbie Goes Bananas, join them from California on Saturday and Sunday. Joaquin was busy all day for pictures and autographs.

I have a Hrebie ,i take it to shows and have won many trophies. People LOVE this car . Funny thing i bought the car before i ever seen any of the movies. GREAT VIDEO THANK YOU .
I'm glad you spent so much time with the guy in the blue. We just got a classic beetle and wasn't sure what to expect with longer trip durability with it, but he set my mind at ease about it and learned some things as well. Won't be doing Herbie the one we just got, but I would love to get one for that purpose.
