If the wrong people find out you're alive, they will want to take you apart to see what makes you tick! Wait until it's late then, go home and be careful no one notices you!"

Herbie is such a sweetheart. Omg so understanding and compassionate.

We can't blame the poor waiter. We all would have the same reaction.

This was always one of my favorite scenes in HGTMC, I love how Herbie falls in love with Giselle the instant he sees her and then tries to win her heart. Which he succeeds in doing. Thanks for uploading this. :)

Yep: both because he's always willing to play matchmaker & because he himself can be quite the romantic at times as you have seen!

That's Exactly how I felt when I first introduced myself to my boyfriend. 0:40

Notice when Herbie takes a bath, the foglamp disappears and reappears, as well as the chrome strip on the driver's side door. (the short all-fiberglass wheelie car) His decklid also changes, specifically when he drives on his own. (car #7 aka Funky Decklid, one of few cars in this film that were from Rides Again)

I am so sure that if the any civilian or police officer ever see a driverless Volkswagen Beetle washing himself at the park fountain, they'll be like, "WHAAAAAAAA......?"

You can clearly see that Herbie has a Eye Pupils when his headlights brighten up

If you read the Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo Herbie fandom, you will find that they dressed up some 1962, 1963, 1959 and 1977 Beetles to look like Herbie. That is probably why you saw this 1970 Beetle hood on Herbie.

In Herbie Rides Again, all of the Beetles in the vicinity do come to his aid at one point in the film to form an army against Mr. Hawk.

the customer asks for red wine and the waiter (Gérard Jugnot) loses his head when he sees the Cox and the Lancia communicate ... blah blah ... the customer insists on having his bottle of red ... blah ... blah ... At the end of the scene, the client asks him if he is not "hi" !! I just think he wanted to tell him "you're not a little crazy in your head" 😋😂 sorry if my translation is not perfect.

@@josephmullin5845 around the end of the movies they were using whatever years looked similar to his og year, I know on later years they would cut out the rear window and put the proper in, I'm not a VW historian but Id imagine as the years went on the bugs got a little bigger
