My mother will buy it for me! This collection is absurdly superb! Operas from the Salzburger Festspiele!

(Not included are some opera recordings by the Salzburg Festival and Vienna State Opera which were on licensed and released under DG for a certain period of time)

Hope DGG could reissue it soon!
In 2018 I bought it for 600 Euro including import tax which I thought it was the most expensive thing I ever buy beside my home and car. After it officially sold out the price is skyrocketed 4-5 times

@@28joshg I know this is really late, but I worked out what the extraordinary sweeping tune is between the Dvorak and the Prokofiev! It is from the Prelude of Bizet's first Arlésienne Suite.

でも一枚あたり３００円もしないし普通のよくあるBOXと違って普通のCDのジャケットを忠実に再現されてますしお得じゃないですかね？ 単価１０万は確かに高いですけど笑

the cover photo of karajan looks awful. but incredible box set. but i already bought those 4 big single box sets by grammophon. so i dont need this super thing :-)
Karajan for completists, those that have everything, or own almost nothing of Karajan. Not really essential for those serious collectors that own the best of Karajan through the years.
