Exactly. It's a fun ride every week with more than a few silly chuckles in the mix. It's a nice escape and a bit of a throwback to the more fun network TV shows of the 70's & 80's.

I would argue that Carrie is not a celebrity. She is an actor in the way that actors in the UK tend to be actors. For them, acting is a gig.

I am SO HAPPY she got her own show!!!!!!!! She is so awesome.

She was so great in the Goods. You could never underestimate her, as she was often smarter than everyone else. Brilliant character.

She’s so beautiful, sweet, humble, etc. I hope “Elsbeth” lasts a long, long time, and that she’ll eventually be in my road movie.

Happy for her. I'm a long admirer of Elsbeth. It will be a great journey getting to know her as a central character.

Had frequent cameo appearances on Person Of Interest" as Finch's love interest, the actor whom she is married.

I watched Elsbeth last night on Global TV in Canada and enjoyed it very much. Foggy memories of her character in The Good Wife. Great interview. What a humble, gracious actress.

Carrie Preston is one of my top five fave actresses ever! Elsbeth is prob one of my top two fave charecters on TV ever. I am so excited about the new show. Carrie's performance in anything she does is always worth watching. In previous shows, she's always left you wanting more from her character and I couldn't be more enthusiastic about a show centered on Elsbeth Tascioni. It's about damn time!!!!

The finale of season 1 was great. She brings so much heart to the character. Love the dynamic with the Captain. The fact she is a southerner just puts it over the top.

I'm pretty sure that when I first saw her as Elsbeth, on The Good Wife, I was likely recognising Carrie Preston from True Blood... But Elsbeth was such a strong character that, over the years, I had completely forgotten she was ever in True Blood until I saw an episode the other day! It's like if you asked most current fans of Robert Downey Jr. what his previous roles were before Iron Man! Indeed, Elsbeth is Carrie Preston's Iron Man! ;-]

Only recently started watched The Good Wife late last year and absolutely loved Elsbeth. Hearing there's a spin off show around her is exciting! I hope it's good

Elsbeth was one of my favourite characters on The Good Wife! She was quirky & different. I watched the first episode of the new show & I liked. I was not expecting such a dark opening scene. I have to watch more to see if I'll stick with it but Carrie is fantastic though.

Boiled peanuts are addictive. Shops keep them in hot pots and scoop them out for you by the pound. Yummy!

My kid brother's ex-girlfriend loved boiled peanuts, but she has a strong accent and with her drawl it sounded like she said "BALLED peanuts". Took a few minutes to realized that she had actually said "boiled". Until then I had never heard of them.
