Hopefully somebody makes a documentary on these two lovely souls. The world needs to know what it missed out on as well as celebrate what they did. Their music took a place in my heart when I first heard of them 2 years ago and it will always be there. How happy they were to be playing music always stuck with me also. They were doing what they were put on this earth to do and they had smiles on their faces every step of the way. Just pure joy and happiness that they got to share their talents with all their fans. I don’t think I will ever fall in love with a band as fast as I did for them. Their music will forever be apart of my life. RIP Stephen, Audun, and Trevor. RIP Her’s. You will forever live on.

Comments about how excited they were to be touring and fans asking why they cancelled their next show not knowing they were just killed in a car accident on the way to that show. Heavy, heavy stuff and of course losing one of our own in the same incident. 😔😔😔 Trevor had been behind the soundboard at many shows I’ve played. A huge loss indeed.

Hey Stephen and Audun, I discovered your music at an extremely dark and low time in my life, and up to this day nothing has ever even come close to replicating this resonance that I have with your music. Come to think about it, I found "Invitation To Her's" exactly two months after the unfortunate accident that took you both away from this world. I just came across this last performance and now I'm tearing up like crazy. First time I've ever audibly screamed in loss about a death of someone I don't personally know. This world is unfair the way that it is. You and your pureness of heart and talent, and how I hoped that it would have carried on just a little bit longer so that the world knows your name. Part of me wants to carry on your legacy by spreading the word and share about That Band of Her's to as many people as I can. Another part of me just wants to keep this kind of music for myself. I hold it very near and dear to my heart, and no music has ever come this close to speaking to me on such a personal level. Rest in peace, love and rock on forever, Hers. We love and miss you a lot.

Came here after Spotify notified me that I’ve listened to Her’s for 10,338 minutes of 2021. Found them right after a 5 year relationship came to an abrupt end. Would end up finding out that they passed away just a month prior to me discovering them. I never knew how sad it could feel to listen to such beautiful hard hitting melodies during a rough time while also then knowing that these melodies crafted by them were limited. Each song truly assisted me and I know that there’s others that also feel this way for songs and artists alike. I never thought I’d find “my band” that made songs that truly lift me up in the worst of times. Their songs were a pleasant company to what felt like my internal solitude of the mental prison I had sentenced myself to. They lived and performed during my lifetime and before I could ever see them live, they were gone. If I could go back to the day I discovered them and somehow make it so I’d never know of their existence, I wouldn’t do that. I wouldn’t change that as I feel that in some beautiful way, that pain allowed me to recognize the answer to what I believe to be most peoples problems. That pain is what truly hurts us and yet, it’s because of love that pain exists. Without pain, love has no meaning and to feel true pain, means that there was some love to feel hurt from. No matter what, it means that pain stems from love and that only when we recognize this pain, gives it the rightful respect of its sensations to that of love, can we truly understand ourselves and also others. All the evils and wrongs in life, they stem from the pains of others. We must forgive ourselves for what we do to ourselves but also realize that evil is misunderstood. If I had lived out those that had ever hurt me or will eventually come to hurt me, I’d be just like they are then, I’d hurt me too because I’d have experienced their pains that led them to every evil choice they’ve ever made as I’ve done with my own. For that, I admit that I’ll never truly understand what it’s like for them with that pain they hold, but that I understand that it comes from a place of hurt. For that, I’ll always forgive those that ever hurt me, I’ll never hate them and I’ll never wish bad upon them. For if they could truly hurt me without any physical elements, I know now that they’d mean so much too me. Only love could hurt me now and only love could quell my wounds. Evil isn’t born, it’s created through experiences. No one is truly malice, they’re just hurt or incapable of experiencing love if they’re vessel isn’t suited for that experience. I remember replaying just 1 song at a time for as long as I could before listening to another song by them that I hadn’t yet heard and then dedicating another whole week to that song. “Speed Racer” was a funny week. I learned that I could still smile even in my lowest of lows. I’m sure if I can crawl, then surely all of you can run. You’re a lot stronger than you ever give yourself credit for, deep down you know this to be true. Just don’t be your own abuser, don’t be so hard on you. Only you could love you in the ways that you can, and that’s the most amazing part about each and everyone of you. You are truly that kind and capable, just ask yourself what’s wrong and you’ll be surprised to know that you have the answers, if you’re willing to listen. If you ever feel that you’re alone, that maybe no one actually cares about you. Know that I do, I don’t have to personally know you, I’m in there with you as much as you’re in here with me. I don’t care what you’ve done or what you say to yourself, I forgive you always. I’ll love you for an eternity and yeah, even a little after that. You’re not alone, you never were.

I saw them at the Brick and Motar House. They were playing with this band called Field Trip. I happened to stumble upon the frontman of Field Trip and he told me that he could hit me up with a guitar pick from one of the Her's members. I eventually ended up sneaking into the back where I met Stephan. He was really nice. He introduced himself and shook my hand, as if I didn't know who he was considering it was their concert lol, he was very humble. I told him my friends and I flew out from Northern Virginia to see him and he was excited to hear that. After the concert they handed me a guitar pick which I gave to my then girlfriend at the time. She is a huge fan of them . I missed the chance to see them a second time and I really regret it.
