It's a GPR slip on that comes with a link pipe all the way up to the motor.

Ich würde gerne auch so sauber ohne Kupplung schalten können :D Habs erst ein paar mal versucht... mit schlechten Auswirkungen... respekt an dich, hört sich echt perfekt an bei dir 🔥💪

Hochwärts gibts da nichts zu beachten, einfach Schalthebel hochziehen und vom Gas gehen, dann flutscht der Gang rein. Würde das aber auf einem 125er erst ab dem 3. Gang aufwärts empfehlen wegen dem schweren Schwungrad und der großen Übersetzungssprünge zwischen den ersten Gängen. Im Video hab ichs ab dem 2. Gang gemacht.

@@Toxie_Motor Das hab ich auch bemerkt, fahre ab und zu die z750 von meinem bruder bei dem funktioniert das schalten ohne kupplung bei jedem gang problemlos, bei meiner mt 125 auch eher erst ab dem 3. Gang davor fühlt sich es komisch an..

Cooles Bike! Habe seit 2000 den A1 und war damals mit einer 2takt-Aprilia unterwegs. Denke, dass sie jeder kennt. Nun überlege ich mir nochmal eine 125er zu holen. Allerdings eine von den heutigen. Bin schon 36 und mag nicht zu viel Kohle für ein Moped verballern. Könnte das Fun machen?

Hey, ja total, ich finde der A1 ist ausreichend um Spaß zu haben und schnell genug ist man allemal. Vor allem in der Stadt brauchts echt nicht mehr Leistung. Ich geb zu, dass ich mir über Land manchmal 5ps mehr wünsche, auf den A1 Maschinen, denn manche Bergaufpassagen sind schon nervig, aber ansonsten echt spaßige Teile!

Personally I think the old one looks much better. Performance wise they are pretty much identical. As a beginner rider you surely won't notice a difference anyway, even when riding them back to back. The motor is the same, everything else is very similar. Be sure to get some proper tires for it. I'd say the best ones you can get for this bike are the Bridgestone BT46.

Great exhaust note on the MT, I agree with you that the MT125 could do with a few more horses, but it's defo 1 of the the best 125, naked Street bikes you can buy here in the U.K. 🇬🇧 , but the 2020 model (UK) cost wait for it...cough £4500 OTR...Cough.....ouch!! Lool, Question is, is it worth it guys? Great 👍 video guys, loved it, you guys rock, I can't wait to get back on 2 wheels again.

We haven't ridden the new 2020 model but we think it looks stupid anyways haha. They changed the entire geometry, so no idea how it handles. Yeah the Yamaha 125 motor is the strongest of the lot. Not peak power wise obviously as they all have 11kW, but the Yamaha has the peak power at lower rpm and has more power at lower rpm in general. The new Honda CB125R is said to be about as good as the MT in therms of frame and suspension, but no idea about the motor. In my opinion it would be the best idea to go for a low milage used 2018 or 2019 MT if you are shopping for an A1 bike. If you are not restricted to A1 then I'd go for the CB300R for a similar experience but twice the power. Edit: Also be sure to put some Bridgestone BT45 or BT46 tires on any of the bikes mentioned! Handle way better than the stock tires, have more grip, great wet performance and insane milage if used on such a light and low powered bike.

Toxie Thanks for the reply & useful information, yes the Honda CBR 125 R is a nice bike ice watched a few you tube vids on it, I think it has a 13.7 BHP or there abouts, whereas the MT has 14.7 I think, the thing is Brands like Benelli/Keeway may be off putting when compared with Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, KTM & Aprilia they are so costly, but for example Benelli have just designed a new 125 engine for Keeways KFR125, it has 3 spark ⚡️ plugs, only 12.1 HP gggrrr! It should have been 15HP full power to comply with English/EU crappy law for us guys on 125s! But that model is the Best of the Chinese 125s for 2020, its amazingly well put together, looks really cool, & 1 guy recond he got 82MPH & 128 MPG! You may take that with a pinch of salt, But I'd be happy with the Benelli/Keeyway RKF 125, especially as it only costs £2400 OTR here in the U.K. That's £2100 cheaper than the Yamaha MT125!

@@andywharam4846 They have to use 3 spark plugs to get 12 HP out of a 125??? Hahaha even the huge 1000cc V-twin bikes only use two plugs per cylinder. And it only has a four speed gearbox, which I consider a big downside. I feel like you kinda get what you pay for with these bikes. Like I said before, best would probably be a used Yamaha. There is a high chance of dropping or crashing it anyway since you are a beginner I suppose. And don't get a brand new bike that you will be selling in two years anyway, especially if you don't have the money.

@@Toxie_Motor Hi again, just a correction regarding the Keeyway RKF 125, it has a six speed box, not 4, 4 valve's also UDF, it has a lean burn engine, & no other 125 from China has 3 sparks mate, I'm 59 now unfortunately ☹️ I've had 5 bikes since 1980, a Suzuki 100cc 2 stroke, a Suzuki X5 twin, 200cc 2 stroke, a Honda 250 Super Dream, Honda CG 125, Yamaha Virago 125 twin, because I've been unfortunate ebe long term unemployed, I just can't afford any bike new or used, but I take your point about the MT125, it's my favourite Japanese naked 125, if n when I get the cash, I'll deffo go for the MT, then get my 125 test A2 licence & probably go for the Benelli 302S twin, them if I pass my A1 i fancy the fantastic Kawasaki Z900 RS, an awesome naked street inline 4.

How that bike costs so much at UK??? We also have MT 15 (south east asia region) same model basically with slightly higher cc, it costs Rp 38 million or around £1900 when i try to convert it into poundsterling

Ich bin auch ca. 185cm groß und finde die MT hat die perfekte Größe. Die 810mm Sitzhöhe ist echt angenehm und durch die recht hohen Fußrasten hat man genügend Schräglagenfreiheit, aber trotzdem eine angenehme Sitzposition durch den hohen Sitz. Zudem ist das Fahrwerk der MT wirklich ziemlich gut und mit den Bridgestone Bt-45 Reifen ist Fußrastenschleifen kein Problem und an warmen Tagen sogar Knieschleifen (aber mach das bitte nicht gleich am Anfang haha). Ich muss zugeben, trotz meines A Führerscheins fahre ich die 125er Mt noch wirklich gerne.

@@koklaczekk6332 As far as I know the GPR header comes without a catalytic converter, so the bike in the video is running without one. Doesn't matter tho, because it doesn't have a Lambda sensor. Maybe the new bike has one, which might be the reason you check engine light comes on.

Junge junge Ich schau mir das Video jetzt zum 3. Mal an und komme nicht drauf klar wie geil du ohne Kupplung hochschaltest... Welches Baujahr hat die Maschine? Bei meiner gehts zum Verrecken nicht ohne ein lautes klacken und einem Ruck durchs Fahrwerk... Gas geben ein wenig Druck auf den Schalthebel und gas weg, Gang flutscht rein... Nö, hat meine Mt kein Bock drauf, Bj. 2016 Also Respekt an dich:)

Hey, freut mich, dass Dir das Video so gefällt. Das mit dem schalten mach ich halt einfach, ohne da groß drüber nachzudenken. Ich würds bei 125ern erst ab dem 3. aufwärts empfehlen wegen dem schweren Schwungrad der Einzylinder und der großen Übersetzungssprünge in den unteren Gängen. Das Schwungrad ist auch der Grund, dass Du diesen Ruck spürst. Muss Dir halt klar sein, dass das ne relative hohe Spitzenlast für die Kette darstellt, alles andere sollte das aber eigentlich ohne Probleme aushalten. Ich würde mich sowieso als Materialvergewaltiger bezeichnen, weshalb mich das halt einfach nicht juckt hahaha.

Ja geil! Also im Video kommt es perfekt rüber. Spürst du auch einen Ruck oder geht der Lastwechsel immer Butterweich von statten? Also ohne irgendwelche Geräusche etc einfach hoch? Wenn ja, macht das dem Getriebe gar nichts. Ist ja dann wie ein QS. Halt Last wegnehmen und dann schalten. Grüße aus Düsseldorf:)

@@yamahamtroadracer3293 Ja der Ruck ist schon da, aber wenn Du danach sofort wieder ans Gas gehst ist er kaum spürbar. Das stimmt, ist im Endeffekt wie ein Quickshifter. Wie gesagt, die Lastspitzen gehen natürlich auf den gesamten Antriebsstrang, aber sequentielle Getriebe sind dafür ausgelegt ohne Kupplung geschaltet zu werden. Nur die Kette der 125er ist meist kaum dicker als eine Fahrradkette und deshalb dadurch stark belastet. Edit: Ach ja, die Mt im Video ist Bj 2018.

Nein, definitiv nicht. Ich glaube sie hat an der Stelle nur eine Linienkorrektur gemacht und die Maschine etwas weiter runtergedrückt. Der T30 hält weit über Fußrastenschleifen hinaus.

Funnily I tried that out today. Riding normally upright she will max out at between 110 and 115kph, if you lay down onto the tank she will do between 130 and 135kph. Downhill she will get up to 138kph which is where the rev-limiter kicks in in 6th gear. All these numbers as indicated on the dash and with the aftermarket slip-on exhaust and no cat, I don't know how she performs with the standard exhaust.

Das ist sozusagen die Baureihe. Die meisten Motorräder haben so einen "Zweitnamen". Die Honda Fireblades z.B.: SC57, SC59, SC77 etc. Suzuki Motorräder haben auch einen vierstelligen Code, z.B. WVA8, WVA1, WVB9 etc. Das hilft meist bei der Ersatzteilsuche, da meist bei jedem Facelift und jeder Modelländerung ein neues Kürzel eingeführt wird. Ausnahme ist zb. die Honda VFR 800 RC46. Von der gibts zwei sehr unterschiedliche Motorräder.

Welche Höchstgeschwindigkeit hat die Maschine?

Siehe älteres Kommentar. Hier auf Deutsch: Normal aufrecht draufsitzend sind es zwischen 110 und 115. Wenn Du Dich auf den Tank legst schaffst Du 130 bis 135. Bergab bis zu 138 wo der Drehzahlbegrenzer im 6. Gang einsetzt. Der Drehzahlbegrenzer im 5. Gang setzt bei 122 ein, also wäre man geradeaus im 5. Gang schneller. Sobald es bergauf geht brauchst Du sowieso den 5., wenn nicht sogar den 4. Gang. Alle Geschwindigkeiten wie sie auf dem Tacho angezeigt werden und mit einem GPR slip-on. Und die Zahlen sind sehr vergleichbar mit anderen 11kW A1 Maschinen, denn 11kW sind nunmal 11kW.

Nein, ich hab beim Hochschalten immer ohne Kupplung geschalten und beim Runterschalten zwischengas gegeben. Über einen Powercommander würde sich ein Quickshifter hochwärts einbauen lassen, aber ich denke nicht, dass sich das lohnt.

You will always be able to find such information in the description of my videos. In this case it had the stock Michelin Pilot Sport that came with the bike on. But she replaced them with the far superior Bridgestone BT45 later. See the other video of this bike on my channel for some knee-dragging on the Bridgestone tire.

@@matzemaiskolben Ich find den super, sieht gut aus und ist wesentlich leichter als der Originale. Und der Klang ist wie man hört auch gut. Man kommt sich ein wenig doof vor, wenn man damit morgens oder nachts durch ein Wohngebiet fährt, weils schon sehr laut ist, aber ansonsten echt klasse.

No he shifts up without the clutch and down with a little bit of throttle. You can do it clutchless but you need to know the technique

Bin auch jz knapp weniger als ein Jahr Mofa gefahren. Das Mofa ist echt eine gute Hilfe, denn es fällt dir dann leichter auf eine etwas größer umzusteigen. Bin jz kurz vor meinem A1 und ich bereue am Mofa fahren gar nix.😁
