This is so heartbreaking.... growing up I was bullied and called ugly by my family my elder sister was my biggest bully 😢😢😢I lost myself esteem I cried myself to sleep.....now that am an adult I have kept a distance from people who look down on me.....I pray I meet people who would love me for me....who can see beyond my ugliness....am beautiful ❤️ in my own ways ❤🎉🎉

You feel that you are ugly because you were told so as a child and by ur family, You are an adult now, and should not describe urself as ugly, u need to build ur confidence in such that even people that think they are beautiful will admire you, I never really use persons appearance to judge them I use their character, beauty fades, but a good character is priceless. Quit owning “my ugliness” phase that comes from other peoples opinion. I’m going on 60 yrs this August, God Willing and I was always judged by not being pretty enough so I felt bad for myself. You can except your original beauty and hold your head up!!!

I love dark skin people most. Melanin is like gold. It is what they use for computer chips. It's a conductor. It is said we need to walk bare foot to recieve energy from the earth. Most of all if you take care you won't get wrinkles. My grand died at 109 with less wrinkles then me.

Thank you God for your marvelous creation , God you created this beautiful baby girl with the most beautiful eyes look at the colour of her EYES.

I was the only dark skinned baby in our family, but my uncles always told me the blacker the berry the sweeter the juice and when i get big all the boys would chase me. And sure enough it happened... i always tell every dark skinned baby how beautiful or handsome they are because they need to hear it and know it... i have uplifted some many of our children because i know how we as people tend to tease or talk down about our dark skinned babies....

I was too dark and my age mates used to call me vamparina but now am a model by profession never minimize your self

Wow!! Well said. Many people thought that they are doing you a dissatisfaction, when they have just opened the door of opportunity. Most people today looked upon everything that isn't the norm as they know norm to be, and called it ugly or weird, when it should be considered as unique.

She was not an ugly girl. She was beautiful. My Mom and maternal aunts were colorist like this. They did not want me dating and/or marrying dark skinned Black men. But that's my preference. My 1st husband was dark skinned (I loved him dearly but he was controlling thus I divorced him). My current husband is light skinned like me (usually not my preference but he treats me well).

We are on Earth to learn how to love Unconditionally.

When a baby is born we don't know how the child will grow up and skin color should never ever define anyone her mother was wrong instead of loving her daughter she was ashamed of her..Even though she had other children all children should be treated equally..But her mom did not see that she only saw her as ugly what her mom fail to realize that she would grow up to be somebody...In the end she made it and she did get to see her sisters but not her mother which is understandable the worst thing to do to a child is to betray them and that's unforgivable..life has away of testing us and her mother was tested and she failed instead of looking at her daughter shamefully instead she should have looked into her daughter heart. Life will test us but it's how we handle it and her daughter was created by God he formed her in her mother's womb to be born and to be loved...So no matter what skin color that you have you never let it define you and when someone says you are ugly your response will be I AM BEAUTIFUL...and God created me and look with there heart.🌍👍🌍💯🌍🙏🌍😘🌍🍀🌍💃🌍🌟🌍
