So during the covid outbreak I taught my wife how to ride a Honda 250 for months I made it tuff on her with cones and teaching her at a movie theater that was closed she then took a 2 day motorcycle course and she passed on her first try with in a month she sold her 250 and bought herself a 2019 harly iron 1200 sportster. I'm so proud of her it still amazes me to see her rip that bike down the highway like a bad ass. Much respect to all the women riders out ther on full size bikes

Women should stay on the back and keep their mouths shut. Yea, I'm one of those guy's that's been riding since back in those days, what about it? Another thing that was so much better about riding back in those days was people knew how to take a joke and have fun in life, especially the women that rode back then.

That’s a big bike to ride for a first timer.She handled it like a champ

life is all about risk management.

My first bike other than dirt bikes when I was a kid, was a 98 police addition Roadking. My husband was on the back and made me ride it for many miles down county roads. Im 5'3 120lbs. I thought there was no way I would be able to ride that big of a bike. I'm now on my second roadking. There's nothing more enjoyable than being on your own bike and being in control of yourself. I think this is super cool but definitely take a rider scores. Stopping quick and turning sharp was my hardest obstacles. Good for you girl, good for you 👏👏👏

Easy peasy. My dear wife is an accomplished rider. Rode her own to the Arctic circle and Newfoundland from here in the west. Go for it ladies!

Thats a big bike being handled in close quarters. She did a superb job. Clutch work was perfect.

Doesn't matter that it was only 10 feet Proud of ya girly!!

She’s surely ridden other bikes before. She knew exactly how to clutch and slow speed steer and brake etc. I love that look on her face when he asks “you feel that rumble and roar?” She’s like “ohhh yeah”.

you know good clutch sense is really nessesary....when you are on a hill ,at a stop sign feet on the ground you better have break and clutch figured out !

She did very, very well. A family that Harley's together stays together. Keep the rubber side down you two and enjoy every ride.

I remember telling the guys at work (3 guys), about our new pilot coming to work who is a female, so be careful with all the girl jokes......... About three months later, I was very impressed by der deft touch for the helicopter 👍 She was really well liked by all the medical crews, and showed up those other guys by how smooth her landings we're 🌹🌹🌹

At a bar in PHX, the jokes began when the wife and I rode up,me on my 49 pan, her on 48 hnuck/shovel. First joker got a broken nose ( Coors long neck. The rest laughed at him an helped her clean up the bike and beer. We never had to buy another round that might. Times have changed (sometimes)!

Thought it was funny as shit...I have experienced something quite like that but with big clubs , I wasn't barley 17 and they closed the bars I was nervous to ask waiter for a beer but was assured no questions would be asked..small timers hated hearing all them bikes coming cause they knew it was shut down time😂

On average women don't have great spatial awareness, but they do have a lot of mechanical sympathy, so they can be very smooth machine operators.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the road king. That twin cam .. def has upgraded cams…. She not giving it back. Once u even sit on one and feel that idle as the motor bounces around on its mounts .. it’s such a surreal experience. It never gets old ever

Harley-Davidson nothing but a waste of money so behind in technology compared to Japanese motorcycles that it's funny you cannot compare the quality of a Harley-Davidson to any Japanese motorcycle I have a Yamaha vfr800 with 110,000 MI I'm not going to sit here bashing Harley but in my opinion they're always the money no balls no performance Rolling Thunder what a joke😂😂😂😂😂😂 but you know Dan again to each its own

Used to ride, now I ride my Jeep. Don't have to worry about rocks in the road or crazy bikers or vehicles. Plus, I don't need to turn around when the pavement ends.

This whole time I was like "dude hold the kid, hold the kid" and she was worried about the Jeep 🤣

She nailed it!. My girl got her license but she ends up hopping on the back of my ultra. She just likes being a passenger better than a driver mainly because of all the idiots on the road. It's pretty nerve-wracking for anyone that doesn't have a lot of miles under their belt and even those of us that do it's still much riskier than it's ever been. I live on the fringes of Chicago's burbs. It's pretty rural here so I just head West towards the Mississippi or North up into Wisconsin. Way too many idiots out there staring at their phone behind the wheel nowadays.

Looks like the 05 Roadking I had. I only reason I got rid of it was that I wanted a Roadglide. Definitely isn't my old bike. Since I had a Hoppe Batwing ferring I put on it . Road pegs on the engine guard. Hard matching bags. A new tail light and license tag assembly to move the license tag to the lower part of the fender. A passenger backrest. A luggage rack and the ferring had a built in Jensen Quadzilla stereo. I also had a windshield bag but I removed the windshield and got very little buffering.

I guess that is how the salesman spoke to HIM when he got his first Harley. "Hey Boy, feel that rumble and roar? Ha! Ya like it?"

my first time on a Harley I was seventeen, it was my brothers Electra glide ( sixty years ago) I went around the block through yards , over drive ways and flower beds...but didn't drop it 😳 never drove it again! my last bike was a Kawasaki Vulcan,750 . shaft drive liquid fire cooling system... sissy bar and unbelievable chrome...sigh... you all drive careful out there ❤️ BB from somewhere in Louisiana

The first time I rode a Harley, a beautiful 2001 Heritage Softail, I admit I was intimidated. It was so much larger than what I was used to riding. But it rode like a dream.

That is a great looking bike. Perfect amount of storage and wind protection.

Thats a HEAVY bike. 😂. I just got a Kawasaki Vulcan 1500cc. And turned it into a bobber. Cant wait to get it on the road. Its the same motor as a V twin

For first time and on a big hog ride, she handled like a pro. Ive seen others throttle and tip on side etc... she stopped and though a short distance, im impressed!. Great job.

She did an amazing job I own my first Harley-Davidson fat bob I've seen one of the comments that said you take a gamble on the road and that is very true I hope she enjoys her Harley Davidson 👍👍👍👍

Outside of a main road . Take it to a warehouse parking lot on the weekend , where trucks deliver , and let her get used to it and confident . Then she'll feel more confident
