Instead of marriage, most girls take it as the last actual day to celebrate their childhood (that’s why we get a doll) I also think that instead of being able to marry, 15 is the respectable age to begin their love life! My cousin made a speech about being finally able to date boys lol Some boys get quinces but I’m pretty sure their special birthday is their 18th birthday. (18 is the age you can legally drink in most of Latin America) All my boy cousins had their big party on their 18th birthday, when they take their first beer or shot of tequila. My other girl cousin had her first shot at her quince(she doesn’t drink but her parents didn’t mind that one time) The traditions have changed. As a Mexican, pls don’t judge it based off of its past ☺️

Very heavy dress and the shape of the dress is awkward for lifting, so trying to keep her steady and upright with the dress possibly shifting the weight would cause it to be difficult but not impossible.
