HER | A Longboard Film Denouncing Violence Against Women

Today is International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
During the two years I worked as a psychologist, I realized that violence against women is much more common than I could ever imagine.
According to the WHO, 1 woman out of 3 has experienced physical and/or sexual violence in their lifetime. And that excludes more insidious forms of violence such as gender discrimination or social expectations about how women should look and act.
I believe that sometimes we turn a blind eye to this because it is easier to hang on to a stereotype than to accept a hard and scary reality.
So today, I want to speak up to say that we have to stop pretending this problem doesn’t exist and talk about it.

This seems like something that wasn’t thought out that much. Like the creator wanted to make an impact about violence against women but didn’t really know how to fit that and longboarding together so we basically get very little if either point
I get what you were trying to do, and I support your message, women face a lot of daily abuse and it's awful, but this is such a weird combination of topics.

I’m not liking the music and the over dramatic few dance moves. Just make it a happy longer video with a twist that will make more impact.
