There is another important factor not mentioned in the vid. Make sure you put the lid on the correct way round. I changed the filter on mine and put the lid back on and couldn’t understand why there was so little suction. That is until i put the lid on correctly: this means the “Henry” writing should be facing the front (above the hose inlet) and the switches to the back. It sounds ridiculous but there doesn’t seem to be an obvious difference - the lid will fit anyway you like. But by taking the lid off and putting it back on the correct way round the suction difference was so dramatic that I almost disappeared down the hose!!! I bet I’m not the only one to have made that schoolboy error.

Great video I’m at work and I’ve never had this kind of vacuum before thank you :)

I use the size 1 and 1/0 Mustad hooks to freeline for snook kzread.infoUgkxzXmlErSqVAEGWFEKO530BvTqFDw53QW3 and they have been fantastic. The points are super sharp, and the hook is small enough to blend with my baitfish, yet large enough to land fish 30" or more. I also use these hooks when I'm pier or surf fishing with my kids. They tend to catch tons of smaller snapper, whiting, and catfish, and we get far fewer gut hooks with these Mustad in-lines, which means more of them survive after release. I was actually using these hooks when I caught my friend too, but I think that had more to do with the bait I was using ;-)

Thank you so much for this video! I accidentally hoovered up a rainbow necklace and was worried I wouldn't be able to get it back, but I could do so after watching you get the hoover bag out. I had to tip the contents onto my bedroom floor to find it, but it was well worth it! Then I sprayed it with some Lynx to keep it from smelling dusty.

With Henry, the part that connects his nose and the first black hose has come off and it's impossible to get it on. Clan you make a video on how to fix that or how to put together Henry piece by literal individual piece?

Hi iv got couple problem hoping you can help me please. The first one is the Extension pips are all stuck and tryed using hot water to separate but didnt work. Tryed turning and pulling no success.Second problem is the hoover just stop working when i was hoovering. The red light on but no power???

The filter was hardly dirty, you can just wash it and Shake it out, that way it saves £10 or more.

I’m from the USA and I just recently bought a Henry Hoover 160 on Amazon and I’m confused about which way the bag goes on as I saw on the video the old bag was facing one way in the new bag was facing a different way I’m confused 😕

My wife’s Henry is smelling of dog and is 15 years but she’s currently nagging me about buying a new one, I asked her what happens when that also starts smelling buy another one? I offered to clean the whole thing out from top to bottom but of course that would be the cheaper option.

You had one job :-p The bag clearly states "This side up!" and you put it upside-down.

I don't want to buy a new bag, I'd rather stick to my way of emptying a Henry I'm not recommending it but I chose to pull all the stuff inside out it takes a long time but I don't have to spend any money.
