I hope I could find my path as Henry has. He is the artist I respect most. He is the definition of “do” I wish he had a larger platform Like governor of Cali Secretary of education, Something where he could really captivate the whole country, not just artists. All of our kids need him. Every adult can learn from him. Thank you Henry. Fan and promoter for life.

I see you understand this freak called Henry!!!! He has no equal and I totally agree with you, every living person NEEDS to be in his presence and just absorb the world as he has lived it. It will only improve your situation. Maybe inspire you to get up in it!!!! You wish you could do the same as he does???? Have you ever asked yourself why you don't? Nothing can stop it if you want it. No money? Fuck, stowaway and cross the ocean!!!! No food??? Talk to someone, you will be fed. Don't know how to start??? Get an Atlas map, flip, poke, and GO!!!!! Make us proud.

PEOPLE!!!!!! Go back and once more, listen to his music list!!!! There is a freaking UNIVERSE of music, you can't hear it all in a single life!!!! Why do so many stay stuck on one type? One genre? Music is music, it's all exactly the same. Yet radically different!!!! There's only 7 notes!!! How much can be done with 7 notes??? I suggest starting by going 180 opposite of your preferred music, you're a metal freak?!? Go discover Beethoven, Bach, Mozart, Faure, just type classical in a search and blindly click! You love jazz?!? Find out why so many love Punk and Ska!!!!My music collection consists of all he just listed and tons more! From Stravinsky to Steel Pulse, Marley to Men at Work, Bon Iver to Bone Thugs, miss Amos to Zappa!!! Music has untold power and strength to make it all reality, or it can chop down anything you don't want to be! I believe if you go so far away from your norm, you'll realize how similar everything actually is!!! We are the same! Same hopes, same fears, loves, dreams, passions, guilts, doubts, and challenges!!! Everyone faces difficulty, everyone sees victory, we all fall but not all have the courage to get up higher than that fall!!! Let hesitation in your mind and you will not! Just DO!!!! The only thing I can be sure is really real, time!!!! It will continue on. Unfortunately as a living thing, ours is very limited!!!! Waste it if you want, your choice. I spend mine learning, creating, listening, loving, living, playing, helping, changing, contemplating, ranting, raving and now and then just being! There won't ever be enough for my tastes!!!!! Fuck TV and Fuck stress, both just destroy. That sucks.

I really enjoy Dennis Miller’s comedy but he had absolutely no idea about how to mesh with the legendary Henry Rollins! Miller is light & intellectually goofy while Rollins is the poster boy of “in your face”, hard working, blood sweat & tears, scrappy, never give up hard work. They’re both awesome but I couldn’t imagine them having much to talk about at a cocktail party (which Rollins would NEVER attend!).

I think comics (no matter what their political belief are) really respect Rollins because he's never considered himself a stand up. In classic Henrey Rollins fashion, he was self deprecating and down graded himself to spoken word performer. Even in the beginning Rollins umderstood he needed to stay in his lane out of respect for stand up. He had an understanding of the work, devotion and time it takes to be a top tier stand up. The delusions modern influencers exhibit when they jump the line over veteran comics, on a whim, at a comedy club and first time trying stand up. Those influencers suck and are super disrespectful to all 10yr+ comics.

Henry really liked him and in a way it's one of the few times Henry was not the dominant male (that is what his gesture meant at 7:33) "this guy is good, but I'm up here". He was nervous AF starting at 1:11...but he did good. You have to remember, this is just as he was transitioning. so he had that "is this really happening to me" moment. Ha ha Good for Henry though. Someone we always looked up to when we were younger. He made his way just being Henry.
