@@netrioter He really cares, but he is also trying to be funny. Hence why he is laughing and why the audience is also laughing. Henry doesn't do "stand up" he does spoken word. Spoken word can be pretty much anything. It can be serious, it can be thought provoking, it can be funny. He tells stories and takes you on a journey. For these few minutes you ARE Henry as he encounters Sandwich guy.

Holy shit, this is the guy that works at Dennys in Florida. Scary guy, very direct and to the point. He is very professional with his job like he is on parole from prison. Asks you how the food is and you're just nod your head and say the food was great!

I also like how Henry played into how he AND we make assumptions about people: Henry describes him as a scary-looking, hulking dude and even says he looks like the stereotypical meth-maker and it turns out the guy is just a regular guy who’s trying to get by on minimum wage. NOBODY tells a story like Hank.

Thankyou Henry, I'll make sure and order some fresh perspective next time I'm in subway. It comes from the most obscure places. I've got 3 beautiful girls whom are straight A-B honor roll and they absolutely respect & love there parents. I'm working one of those minimum wage jobs & constantly alocating & organizing where our money goes.But my problems are easy compaired to the subway guy.

I see it as comedy too it’s spoken word but his stuff better than some of this mainstream crap we get these days.
Agreed with others, seemed like HR was going to get to the bigger epiphany right as this video ends. Great stuff, nonetheless.
